I loved this park. Bidwell is a beatiful place to be. I used to go to the one mile every year and swim all day long then lay in the grass. Everyone is always friendly there

We went to snap some photos on Christmas Day. It's a beautiful space with a lot of room to roam. There are some great spots for stunning photography and video. There are public restrooms (though not kept up too well). If you're looking for a beautiful place to explore nature, then this is a stunning one.

We started out around the Horseshoe Lake and hiked the Lower Trail to the Yahi Trail to Bear Hole. Very scenic hike. About 4 miles roundtrip. Bear Hole was beautiful and lots of fun at the same time. The kids loved climbing on the rocks. If it were the summer time, swimming there looks like it would be a blast.... More

Beautiful park with miles of walking and biking paths to cover. Beautiful mature trees, absolutely gorgeous in the spring and fall- but a wonderful place anytime of year. There is a great playground for the kids called Caper Acres near the large Sycamore Pool, where there are lots of picnic tables and grassy areas to relax and enjoy the day.

This is a great 3700 acre park that is both community inspired with the lower park with a pool, trails, and children's fantasy park as well as "wild" upper bidwell with flora and fauna, hills and creeks. Love all of this treasure.

Running miles to the east of downtown, Bidwell, named for the founder of Chico, is an urban treasure. Don't miss a quiet walk among the trees.
