Inexpensive way to learn about the founders of Chico and the history of the city. Fun and a great learning exposition.

Besides being beautifully restored and maintained, Bidsell Mansion is an integral part of Chico's history. The tours are not expensive, and the guides really know their stuff. This is a fun way to spend an hour or so if you are in town.

Chico is a fun town to explore. There is the old town that rolls into the university where the Bidwell Mansion is located and the new town that is similar to any other place.
