Got fogged out and blown out of Lassen. Fished Deer Creek for some trout. lots of fun.

Went to a 50th wedding anniversary party for an old friend who camps at Plumas Pines. Fished twice and enjoyed the time on the water. Close to Mt. Lassen.

We rented 2 homes in Lake Almanor Country Club through Caldwell Banker. There were 20 of us in all. The lake was beautiful and not nearly as low as the rest of the lakes in California. Both our homes were nice and clean. We were near the Rec area so the kids had a place to play and walking distance... More

Massive lake with very calm waters, very close proximity to multiple campground and with some restaurants/bars in the area. Nice for a weekend gate away. I recommend driving to it via highway 70 so you get a more scenic approach.

I know this is silly to review a supermarket but I have to say I feel lucky to know about it. Not only do they have organic produce but they have enlarged their entire healthy living section to include soaps, cleaning products, and more health food! I often stop in to Holiday on my way to a camping trip because... More

This beautiful lake is a hidden gem in north eastern California. How did I not know it was even there? Apparently it's quite full in the summertime with escapees from the city visiting their summer homes. We were there in spring. It was beautiful, cool, quiet and lovely. Most of the shops were closed for low season but it looked... More

What a pretty lake! It's full of water which in CA is really rare in recent years. Lots of areas to explore and the camping right on the lake is superb.
