Awesome resort - greens are good and cheap in the summer.

Okay, call me crazy, it won't hurt my feelings one bit. I travelled to Cathedral City in early August - I know crazy huh? The locals will tell you "Worst time of the year to come... read more

Okay, call me crazy, it won't hurt my feelings one bit. I travelled to Cathedral City in early August - I know crazy huh? The locals will tell you "Worst time of the year to come" and "I have lived here most my life and I just can't get used to the heat" I'm like, are you kidding me, 113... More

Course is in great shape. Greens had been plugged earlier in the month, so approach shots not holding as I am sure the are doing now. Good challenging course with appropriate tees for any golfer. When I checked in they were running a special that if you sign up for their players club you get $20 off the green fee,... More

We recently played 18 holes here after a prolonged hiatus from practicing our (already questionable) golf games. The course is short and beginner-friendly. Prices are inexpensive and the grounds are well-maintained (though probably not as well-maintained as more expensive and more difficult courses, though a novice like me could barely recognize this). If you are new to golf or if... More

This course has two courses. One is a regular 72 par course and a par 55 executive course. I played latter for second time and it is a great test of your irons. The greens are fair but tough. Plenty of sand so it can be a challenge. But also great for beginners. Plus price is right. Be sure to... More

We golfed the Boulder Course on a pleasant February afternoon. We thought the course was in very good shape and was comfortable for our ability. The greens fees were very reasonable. The only coplaint we had was the service in the restaurant was very poor. Too bad, because the view from the restaurant is wonderful. My friend was not happy... More

This is a unique course in that you have a 'short' and 'long' course option - both 18 holes each. We've played this course each year in Feb and Oct for the past 6 years. February is very busy, especially weekdays. So, if pace of play is important to you this may not be the right course match. Restaurant has... More

We did not golf at this club but we were staying at the Cimmarron Resort next door. We had coffee in the mornings at the club house patio which provided a fantastic view of the course with mountains in the background. We decided to try the clubhouse restaurant for lunch. There was a varied menu, excellent food for a reasonable... More

I was a walk on single, and had no problem getting on. The particular day I went was overcast and a bit cool, but hey, I'm an Albertan so wearing shorts is a treat for me. Course was not busy, and unfortunately there were no groups for me to join,so it only took me about 3 1/2 hours to play.... More

STAY AWAY. ESPECIALLY WITH LARGE GROUPS. We booked a group of 11 and were very excited about this picturesque course. Unfortunately we had the worst golf experience of our lives. There was a women's golf player's club booked 6 minutes behind our last group of 4. They were golfing in 3s with 5 total groups. Despite being just slightly over... More

We played the Boulder (longer) course on December 26, and had a wonderful day. Course was in great shape and the width of some of the fairways was welcomed. We hadn't played since early October. It is nice to play a course that doesn't have condos along every fairway. Cimarron feels like a golf course and was challenging, yet forgiving.... More
