Even at a discounted price-skip this once beautiful course and play somewhere that has a few amenities and course that is maintained.

Loved all the pics on the wall....meant alot to me, as my grandmother was a big Mary Pickford fan. We had a good time, had theatre popcorn and drink...makes you feel like a young kid again

The course is very slow took over 6 hrs to finish as it is a public course and tons of people play for the price of 35.00 peak and 25.00 after noon. Worth going to play if you have lots of time on your hands.

this course is a bit of a challenge, lots of water and sand, but very lovely and in good shape. Excellent value for the price. Staff is accommodating and bar/restaurant has good prices. We would golf here again,

Staying at The Welk Desert Oasis so greens fees with cart are $25! Course is very scenic with lots of water that comes into play. Staff is courteous and friendly. Played twice within a week and were happy we did.

We took lessons from Steve, who is an award winning instructor. His method of instruction is extremely helpful and he is very positive in his approach. We plan to take 'refresher' instruction every time we visit the area. Note: Steve is also a certified club fitter and he does a great, and patient, job.

Cathedral canyon gets a bad rap. As one of the cheaper courses in Palm Sprigs, it gets a ton of play and can be slow, but as a layout it is far superior to many of the higher rated courses. The first hole on the mountain course can be blown up (or at least chainsaw the huge tree in front... More

Played Cathedral Canyon this past week and really enjoyed myself. We needed a left handed set of rentals which we ended up waiting for for almost 1.5 hours, in the meantime we had a drink in the lounge which was not over priced. We also had a hotdog which was tasty. Course was in good shape, par 5s are long.... More

They were over seeding, otherwise it would have been much better. Club house doesn't have breakfast.

I know it's the offseason but I felt keeping the fairways at thin rough height was not necessary. The greens were in decent shape, albiet slow, but green and still soft. The layout of the course is above average but had some entertaining holes. The services was clearly in the offseason mode as they had some renovating occuring but there... More
