The park is in a great location - Near the ocean, train station and downtown Carpinteria. There are some unique pieces of play equipment that children and adults too! - will enjoy. Just outside the park are some very special tiles that can be placed for many different reasons. The cost of the tiles helps with the upkeep of the... More

Nice small park near State Beach. Especially good for smaller children. Includes many different elements, from tomols (boats) and dolphin statues to climb on, to unusual slides, and walking paths.

Wonderful playground with soft surfaces and really fun informational displays. Right next to a big open space perfect for running off lots of energy. Appeals to kids of all ages.

This is a terrific place for young children and families. It was designed to combine play with education about native flora, fauna, and early inhabitants. The play equipment is uniquely designed for this purpose. It has unshaded places for adults to sit and observe and nearby places to eat when the kids need food. We bring our grandson there on... This is a great area to bring children of all ages. It's basically a very cleverly conceived playground with a Carpinteria theme. Whenever we have gone there it is just a riot of laughing, giggling kids and proud smiling parents. I'm smiling just thinking about it.

My kids are 8 and 9, and they were bored here. The play area is really beautiful and interesting, and it did hold their interest for a very short time; they liked the animal statues and the canoe. However, the statues were too hot to sit on, and there were no swings or anything. They were bored after about 10... More

There is not a whole lot to do here but my kids seem to like it. When walking from the campsite through Linden Field to downtown my kids like race to the playground and go down the roller slide and meet us at the other end. Its great for when the day starts overcast and you dont want to head... More

Nice little park for kids, chances to climb, and a little history lesson about the local indians. Parking can be a litle tight on busy, sunny days. Also a bigger park next to it and just a short walk to the beach.
