Enjoyable Tasting at Heller Estate

We liked their cab franc and malbec - both were superb. The sculpture in front of the winery tasting room is nice. The staff was welcoming and we enjoyed our tasting.

Had a great wine tasting experience at Heller's. Learned so much about organic wine making. They use 300,000 lady bugs each year in their vineyards. Staff was very knowledgeable and informative. Excellent 2012 Petit Verdot!

Great little place with some old wines, you can get bottles from the 80s and 90s from the library collection just released. The Reds are all very good, they have Pinot, a Meritage blend that is great, drinkable now. The Merlot is also quite nice.

Wine tasting at Heller Estates is always such a pleasure. The staff is so much fun and very informative. I like the idea that their vineyards are organic. The wines are of excellent quality and would recommend stopping in for a tasting. Love their whites and the reds are incredible. They also have a delicious port. If you are cruising... More

I didn't particularly enjoy only a couple of their wines but the staff was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. One of the first tasting rooms you see when entering Carmel Valley.

I get headaches from red wine, but this wine is guaranteed to not give you a headache or a hangover. We tasted 6 delicious wines and bought 4 bottles, so it was a hit with us!

I expected more from this area. The wineries are ok and maybe if you were on a tour it would be fun but I didn't see much there to do. Went to Hellars and felt pushed into a tasting of wines I didn't care for.Paid my $10 and left.Shopping was lacking as well.

My wife and I stayed in Carmel and had a great time which we expected but we did not expect was to find an amazing Malbec at a local vineyard! The folks at the tasting room were so friendly and helpful and I ended up having a couple of bottles shipped back to my home state. They have a lot... More

With this being one of the only all organic wineries in the area, we of course had to do the wine tasting here. Very great different wines, a good balance of flavors and none of the wines I tried had a too strong oak flavor. I absolutely loved the sweeter dessert wine "Late Harvest Riesling" and the staff was very... More
