We have done wine tasting from Paso Robles to Napa Valley and found few wineries that charge a tasting fee when also selling you bottles of wine. Holman Ranch is one of them We had a good tasting session going (my wonderful wife and I were splitting the tastings) and thinking about buying some of the wine, but our server... More

We just spent the weekend as part of a wine club benefit. The property is immaculate and stunning, as noted in other reviews. We belong to a few other wine clubs, and having a weekend at no cost is an extremely special, gracious perk. The wines are delicious; the tasting room staff is superb. We had several addition "treats" during... More

If you are looking for a different kind of wedding this is the place. My son recently had his wedding at the Holman ranch and it couldn't have been any better. The facility is well maintained and totally interesting. Every aspect was executed just as my son and his new bride had requested. The scenery that backdropped the ceremony was... More

Stayed here 51 years ago on our honeymoon and what a change. The couple from Alabama have made such improvements. It was a pleasure to be able to view all the changes.

I stayed here for a work function, and enjoyed my stay immensely. The property is very well maintained and is tucked away in quaint Carmel Valley. The cabins are well appointed, although the only thing that bothered me was no window covering on the bathroom window. Even though it was obvious no one could see in, for piece of mind,... More

There are few places better suited for an authentic, romantic, old California wedding than this beautiful ranch, set splendidly in the mountains. The Territorial architecture is stunning, and there are few spots that offers such a rich array of settings for memorably photographs.

Staying at Holman Ranch was a delight! It truly epitomizes the word guest. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the cottages are tastefully decorated. We checked in at the wine tasting room and we were immediately offered some tastings of their wonderful wine. You need a code to enter the ranch so you feel very safe here. After we toured... More

We had a wonderful tasting experience at Holman Ranch. Our hostess was friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. We tried 2 flights of wine - the mountain flight and the Pinot noir flight plus a couple extras. Both flights were delicious- and all pours were very generous. My favourite was the dessert wine - Sweet Love. Yummy. Sweet with crisp... More

This is the most stunningly beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen. Multiple buildings and grounds so there is plenty of room for the group to spread out. Must see it to believe, and since they don't just let you drive up there, you might have to search online for pictures. Well worth it if you are looking for a... More

As a local, we have a lot of choices of wine tasting rooms to go when friends come to town. But we always bring people to Holman Ranch! The tasting room is so fun -- comfortable seats, great staff, and super dog friendly! A great way to spend the afternoon!
