Put on your comfy shoes and walk / run this stretch of California coast with white sands and turquoise waters on one side and multi million dollar mansions on the other. Yet the feel is very relaxing, peaceful, and enchanted.
This is a lovely place to walk with or without a dog or to ride a bike. Gorgeous period homes, some more modern, gardens, trees, and the ocean!
We road our bikes on this road and it was breathtaking. The color of the water and the beach on one side was phenomenal and the houses were fun to look at and dream about. We would do this again!
If you can find a parking space I can't think of a much more scenic location to watch a sunset. Sadly there are no bars or restaurants from which to observe.
Every block has the nicest landscaping and varied architecture. Things bloom beautifully in Carmel and each home is stylized to perfection. Amazing they have so many owners on the same page for classy looking homes.
