Such a beautiful drive and view of the ocean and plenty of places to stop and take pictures. We brought a picnic lunch and stopped and had lunch at the beach it was great.

Easy drive along some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Don't miss it! Great to pull over and soak in the sights. In particular enjoyed the lone Cypress and Pebble Beach.

This drive is a must-go. Although it is expensive ( there is a fee to drive through), the sights are beautiful- from long expanses of beach, to the famous lone cypress, famous golf courses, country clubs and restaurants, and the gated homes of the very wealthy. If you are able and fit, ride your bikes- and see the sights at... More

Everyone says to go here and it was a nice coastal drive but the rave ratings were not justified. It's not that we disliked it, though. Lots of cars do it so leave enough time - half a day?

Winding roads, many view points, good for a few hours. Pay once and it's valid for the day. Must do it in the day

You do not need to pay the $9.75 to see great ocean views. I was surprised to see so many deer on the golf courses.

Take one or two hours for drinving and taking pictures in this very beautifull place with great vista points. 17 mile is a circle like drive. For me, the coastal part was great. The non-coastal looked like long and a little desintereting to me.

This drive is expensive and a bit dull. Instead, drive free from Carmel Beach to Pacific Grove on the public coastal road; the scenery is just as beautiful and there are more places to stop and take pictures. There are some very creatively designed homes along this drive, (including one built like a boat) which we found more interesting than... More

Luckily we have done the 17 mile drive before in the car several times. This time we we're on our motorcycle and looking forward to the afternoon drive to take pictures and just enjoy the views. We got to the gate and were stopped and told NO MOTORCYCLES. I suppose if the golfers at Pebble Beach have to pay what... More
