Great view. Many stops to look at views and take photos. Fun to visit Pebble beach and golf club. Look at very large houses along the drive! There is a fee to enter the drive.

This is one of the most beautiful drives in America. Comparable in some ways now to Newport's Ocean drive. Many mansions have been built on what used to be a very wild coastline. But the lone cypress is still there!

Enjoyed the views of the bay and the various golf courses. Plan on stopping at Pebble Beach and enjoying a bite on the balcony of the club house. Your toll for the road is taken off your bill.

Our first bit of advice is to ensure you plan enough time to stop along the 17 or so marked sites along the drive. The entrance is clearly marked off of Highway 1, however its not clearly advertised that there... More

Well, the last time we made this drive it was only $5 and if you had a cocktail at Pebble Beach, they comped it. those days are over. Now it's $9.75, but still worth it. We were glad to see the 'Lone Cypress' looked a lot better than it did the last time we saw it...I thought maybe they secretly... More

I really didn't know what to expect - a 17 mile drive that costs money - but man was I happy my wife and I did this. I expected it to take 30 minutes or so to drive the 17 miles, but it took us over 3 hours. Of course, we stopped at almost every stop location (there are about... More
