We were advised to take this drive. So glad we did. Paid $10 to enter but if you eat or shop in certain places, you get the $10 credit. Fantastic drive. Well worth the time.

!7 mile drive has some awesome spots you can see. You have beautiful beaches, cliffs, some nice rocks, golf course. We even saw some pretty cool animals, from birds to seals to reindeers, squirels, and they are all very friendly. You have to stop at Carmel, which is at the end of the 17 mile drive.

A chance to see all around the amazing Pebble Beach and Cypress Point areas with great clues and inside info on what you are looking at all for $10-00 which if you eat at the Clubhouse you get back !! Definitely one to vist as if you know golf there is a balcony that overlooks the 18th green that you... More

Take your camera and practice till you run out of space on your card. Watch for the sea otters and seals.

My wife, daughter and I took the $10 plunge as part of our final segment driving from San Francisco to Carmel. Having driven around Pacific Grove a while trying to find it we had given up and clung to the coast road, which suddenly veered us inland and there it was - a toll booth. Follow the red lines in... We had lunch at the 18th hole of the golf course ( not a large selection for a non fish eater) but a lovely setting. We sat outside on the patio. The drive was fun - with many sites to see - they give you a good map. It costs $10 to enter 17 mile drive, but you get that... More

We should have taken the drive before we went to Point Lobos. The drive was nice, but not as dramatic as some of the state parks.

We always marvel at the great natural beauty of 17 Mile Drive. Whenever we are on the Peninsula, we try to take it... enjoying the various places we can visit along the way.

I'll admit that I was beginning to doubt the reviews after the first few viewing spots. They were disappointing but then... Wow. Beautiful ocean views! It's a $10 fee to drive through, just FYI.
