YOu don't have to go to Los Angeles or San Francisco for good theatre. Pacific Repertory Theatre has a great corps of actors who do a superb job with everything from Shakesphere to current dramas and comedies. Two theatres -- Golden Bough and Circle -- if you are here and there is a play or two going on, don't miss... More

we previously saw it in san francisco in a theater 100 (!) times larger than this one. The cast worked extremely hard and it showed, to perfection. The four-piece orchestra also worked hard, playing the entire show. The theater is certainly worth taking time to viksit.

We went to the Buddy Holly concert. Their must have been 150-200 in attendance. The show was very entertaining. People were actually dancing in the aisles. I recommend this for a fun night.

What a talented group of musicians and singers who presented "Buddy Holly and Friends." The performers transformed their costumes and personas to sing songs performed by various artists of the 50's and 60's. After the intermission, they performed songs by later rock n roll artists like Dylan, Stones, Cher, Mamas and Papas. They got us dancing and clapping in the... More

The Golden Bough operates on a shoestring (a "twig", maybe/), but produces Broadway-quality performances. If you want a taste, go see "Buddy!" this summer.

Excellent seating throughout and every seat has a great view. Its a small venue, but it looks as if every bit of stage equipment has been provided by a professional. They can do a variety of performances here. Sound quality was also excellent.

The shows are professional and there isn't a bad seat in the building. There is often a Thursday special of 2 for 1 tickets as the dates grow closer. If the shows are selling out you could miss out getting tickets at all if you wait too long. Be aware it is a gamble.

Make sure you check their website to see what is playing. It was such a fun time and good quality drama and singing. On thursday evenings the tickets are 2 for 1! Otherwise about $22 each.

We have seen a couple of shows here. Always very good performances with a good cast. Very intimate litle theatre and very reasonable admission prices. Tucked back of the main street. Free street parking the meighborhood. The Circle theatre is rite behind it and it is REALLY a intimate theatre. But also fun.
