My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Staci's tour. The three hours passed quickly and enjoyably as we walked leisurely through beautiful Carmel and sampled delicious foods and drinks along the way. Each location was unique and at several stops chefs or others came out to discuss their selections and answer questions. Staci's assistant, Tracy, also joined us for part of... More

One of the better food tours we have been on and we have done a few... Several of the chefs actually spoke with us personally and shared their secrets and vision. Our guide, Tracey, provided interesting facts about the buildings and secret walkways. I can't tell you enough about the delicious tastings--most were farm to table and each bite unique.... More

Being a local of Carmel I was impressed by the knowledge I received of its history, along our path to delicious eateries and winery. The restaurants we're out of this world. They all captured the essence of Carmel with fabulous food, wine and unique combonation of favors. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn about Carmel and wants... More

Our friends arranged this tour for our very short stay with them in Carmel. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the experience. The restaurants chosen were fantastic. The food and the pairings were delicious and just the right amount. The tour of Carmel was walker friendly, interesting, thorough and fun. Staci had a great knowledge base from architecture to restaurant/food... More

I took this tour with my Mom a couple weeks ago, and this was definitely a highlight of our trip. This was my first ever food tour, as well as my first trip to Carmel, what a great experience! It was such a nice way to see a number of different places, when normally we may just go to one... More

Other reviewers have done a nice job explaining the 3 hour tour. I will reiterate how enjoyable an experience it was for our group. Some of my family came with low expectations, not know what we would be doing for that amount of time. Everyone walked away very happy and surprised at what a wonderful job Staci did. For some,... Great 3 hour walking tour of downtown Carmel with stops at 7 restaurants and/or specialty shops. Total walking distance was about 1-1/2 miles & price was $69 (+$10 tip). My favorite stop was La Bicyclette (locally grown & organic ingredients) & my least favorite was the Figge wine tasting room. Manduca' was also a great stop, which is a Spanish... More

My husband and I came from Philadelphia for a long weekend get-a-way. We try to always do a food tour of the cities we visit. Carmel-by-the-Sea food tour was one of our favorites. Staci did a wonderful job. Her knowledge of Carmel's architecture was superb. The restaurants she chose for us to visit were so delicious that my husband and... More

Staci (and her assistant Tracy) are incredible hosts with a wealth of local knowledge, not just about the restaurants and shops visited, but about the City, its buildings and community in general. We had a fantastic time, discovered some excellent restaurants and shops, sampled delicious dishes and drinks and met some great people. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking the tour, whether... More
