You are in total silence (no electronics allowed). You go between eucalyptic steam room, to cold pool, to fire pits, Zero gravity chairs, to hot tubs. You can spend as long as you like there, totally relaxing. There are multiple "stations" so you have privacy and arent running into people. Schedule a massage for after if you really want to... Went here this past Easter Sunday. Boyfriend and I had a massage to start, very relaxing and then spent almost 4 hours relaxing and enjoying the spa. It is defiantly a great place to relax. Make sure you have a light snack before going as no food or is allowed in. Only a bottle of water.

This is the second time I've been to Refuge and both times it has not failed to impress me. Both times the masseuses were excellent (I like firm massages and both provided great relief for me). The cost of using the facility is not expensive and if you get a massage, they provide towels, a robe and locks for locker... More

The experience would of been 10 stars, but there was too much chatter going on. Actually was very dissatisfied because of lack of respect for silence.

My husband and I had a very busy weekend with company at our house for Valentine's Day weekend, so we booked massages on the evening of Monday, February 16th (President's Day). When I called to book the lady identified herself as the owner and was very professional over the phone. She took the info she needed and gave me the... More

Who knew? Refuge great in the rain. No time around the fires but lots of time in the hot jacuzzi and inside on the zero gravity lounges. Also less patrons so had the place nearly to ourselves.

My husband and I have been to Refuge a number of times, both together and with his parents. Each time has been consistently great. This is a wonderful adult-only spa for couples, friends or solo. Allow a few hours to enjoy a few circuits through the various thermal pools, cold plunge pools, steam room, sauna and zero gravity chairs. In... More
