Always worth a stop here at the Chamber of Commerce, every time you come to Carmel to make sure you have the latest maps and up-to-date info on new restaurants, wine tasting rooms, etc.

This attraction should really have it's own "Things to do" listing, and I'm surprised it's not listed. If you're spending the day in downtown Carmel, and you enjoy wine tasting, this is a fun thing to try. First you stop by the Chamber of Commerce (open 7 days a week) and purchase their Wine Walk Passport. For $65 you get... More

We got loads of information for this tourist office. They are very friendly and even allowed me to use their phone to book some bikes for the day. The office is centrally locatied so it's easy to find an close to all the main sites.

I have never seen so much free material including maps books etc. They booked a room for me in just a few minutes after arriving as they have a daily list of vacancies with very good rates. I... Now called the Carmel Chamber of Commerce - http://www.carmelcalifornia.org/ See their downtown location on San Carlos between 5th and 6th , in Carmel-by-the-Sea, across from the Shell Station and near Hogs Breath Inn for all your tourist info needs, including help finding the nearest lodging if the area is booked up for an event.
