Candy store is nice, appear to make their own. If you stop here, also go to The Crossroads, they have an incredible stationary store, good consignment store, more of a non-tourist destination with an Ace Hardware.

Lots of cool shops to see and just window shop. Some nice eating places. Great pizza. Nothing frozen there; all fresh ingredients. Good service, fair beer selection, but definitely go in hungry cause you won't leave that way! Highly recommend it.

There are an incredible dollhouse museum that's donation only and several good restaurants at the Barnyard. Of course there are fancy clothing stores and artsy stuff too.

Viewing the Barnyard from Highway 1, it always looks like an interesting place to go explore. However once at the Barnyard, I find it more of a "hit and a miss". I like the garden areas and shopping at the garden store. There is Patrick James. There is a variety of fashion, jewelry, and dining places. There is also some... More

Nice combination of souvenir-worthy shops, fashion boutiques and nice restaurants. Prices are a little expensive, but there are several restaurants there that are worth the price. Very relaxing atmosphere...

We have stop by the Barnyard most times we are down in Carmel. Pretty setting but shops keep disappearing or big turn over and lots of vacancies now.

Shopping in the village is a little expensive and tends toward conservative design. The Barnyard had a few nice options for shopping and dining and a large parking lot. It is a relatively small center, but was still charming and had some more affordable options.

This place wasn't what I expected with the Barnyard name. We came here to stop at the bakery. There were a few shops but we didn't see anything we wanted to check out, so we got our pastries and left.
