My husband and I recently went to a wine tasting and tour of Chateau Julien. Our tour guide Shawn (sp?) was a wonderful guide and a hoot to boost. Enjoyed every minute of the tour and grounds and would visit again!

Book ahead for one of their guided tours - they take about an hour but you never get bored. Plenty of good wine to try and stuff to see - from grape to bottle. Very easy to get to and $7 each was well worth it.

We recently hosted a wedding on site with the ceremony taking place before sundown out amongst the vines followed by a reception in the "barrell room".
