Family stay in Carlsbad with two small children. The pools are fantastic especially for kids 12 and under. The breakfast buffet was great too. There is a video game room and kids club. Parking is a hike. Over all good stay, I would recommend it.

I really enjoyed playing this golf course. It was challenging to play (we played The Legends course) but since we did a scramble format, the level of difficulty was somewhat mitigated. The people who were working the course were polite and very helpful. The only item which kept this from being a 5-star review was we all thought that the... More

I recommend the Stay and Play Package. You get 2 rounds of golf which normally costs $190, breakfast valued at $60, and drinks and Apps valued at $60. Great deal for the golf enthusiasts. The Legends course is a fun layout with fast fairways and solid greens which make me miss Cali already.

Played here as a guest on a business trip. I have always heard about this course and the North Course has some Tiger Woods history. While the staff was great and they even made a vegan box lunch, the course was so-so. The layout of the course was fair so a true test of golf, but the greens had been... More

The Champions Course was hailed as the new redone LaCosta of the past. Unfortunately, it is way overpriced. At approx. $225, you would expect a pristine course. I played on much better municipal greens. Between the slowness of the greens and abundance of divits, the experience was irritating. The staff was pleasant enough but this is definitely a public course.... More

We choose la costa thought our friends advised us the hilton la jolla. So, from our experience if you are looking to do the usual attraction in San Diego like sea world, the zoo, the old town and enjoy la jolla by evening, then la costa is not the place as there is half hour drive to each location. If... More

Down to 1 golf course. June gloom weather has creeped into mid July. Not the best time to be here. It's cool, nice weather to play golf in, mid 60's am high 70's pm. No that's not my score! Again good weather to play golf but there is only 1-18 hole course open while the south course is being reconstructed.

I felt that this was a very good location for a Festival. There was plenty of parking and the staff was helpful.

This course was has been on my bucket list for years...so when I got the opportunity to play the Champions Course, I jumped at it. While irrigation was lacking and the scenery was not as epic as I'd imagined, it was challenging and fun. Plenty of sand and water so pack balls! I really enjoyed the service, the clubhouse and...
