Average place. Had to wait 10 minutes before someone actually acknowledged us. Food was good and when we did get a waitress she was very attentive.

The place is loud and crowded - but feels like one's having a great party at home. Fast and friendly service by beautiful young ladies, who will always smile and be nice, whatever workload is forced on them. Lucky employer!

Taco Tuesday but I went off the regular menu. Carnitas: average. Beans: average. Rice: average. Server: average. Atmosphere: average. Honestly, there is nothing about this place that makes it stand out. I wouldn't return but I could see how people who lived nearby would enjoy the cheap taco night.

Stopped in for lunch, sat indoors although they have a great outdoor dining area as well but since it was sunny and hot we chose inside. Server was attentive and helpful, I had the carnitas, a house specialty, which were served as a full portion and were well balanced in seasoning. Loved the free salsa and chips, the salsa was... Their salsa alone is worth the trip! Their tacos and fajitas are pretty great too! My grandpa loves to go here on karaoke nights. A lot of people come for the great variety of tequilas. The service varies over the years and can largely depend on what time of day and what day you are there. Popular nights are not... More

I have been coming to this place. I can only speak for a few things: Food: their smoky salsa is outstanding, and their mini tacos are the best (only thing I have ordered in the last 20 years lol) Service: its a hit and miss. It can get very very crowded and they don't have enough people working. The girls... More

We ate outside on a pleasant afternoon. We felt like we were the unwanted guests at a party. It was very difficult to get service (aside from the table busser, he was very attentive). And, most DISGUSTING--all the waitstaff insisted on placing their fingers on the rims of the glasses as they were serving drinks. Even when refilling from a... More

I have had a lot of fun in this place! Decent food, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere in the evening, plus I love the out door seating and the firepits. I think this is more of an adult place at night but good for family if not too late. When I visit friends in Oceanside we always come out... More

My feeling is that if you're in a Mexican restaurant, you should be able to get a really good margarita. It's all in the mix. This particular mix was way too sweet for my husband and myself. Chips and salsa was tasty but guacamole was mediocre. The dish it was served in was filled with shredded lettuce hidden under the... More

My husband and I are visiting the area and came upon Coyote by driving through some of the town. There were people dancing to the live band that was playing outside and the outside seating area had many people socializing around fires. We went inside - the bar area smelled a little like fish and was a little noisy, but... More
