My friends and I went here for dancing on a Saturday night about 10:30 pm and it was a lot of fun. The DJ was great and the crowd was lively. I wasn't drinking so I don't personally know about the drinks. My friend said her drink wasn't strong enough and tasted like it had no liquor and they fixed... more

I frequently visit Coyote and it amazes me how impatient some of the patrons are. I am a server and I know how it is when people come two minutes before happy hour ends and try to order three drinks a piece, then they get upset when waiting for their drinks because they think they are the only people in... more

So we're not the only people who were REALLY amazed by the Coyotes customs.. And we don't mean this as a compliment. As a europeans we were surprised by the nice and helpful service everywhere in the States until Carlsbad's Coyote bar. It was New Year's Eve and we decided to stay couple of days in this nice little city.... more

They wouldn't let us in on one of the busy nights because we were Canadian. They said that they would not accept anything except for American Licences as I.D, even though they let our whole party in the night before. We were tourists in the area and were looking for something fun to do. Obviously they don't want tourists from... more

As with the writer prior to this review, I too have experienced poor quality service from Coyote's on numerous occasions. Nearly half the visits I encounter, I need to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes to even be recognised as a patron to the servers...and this is between 5 and 6pm on the patio, when there are usually less... more

Coyote Bar and Grill USED to be a fun place where my friends and I would go to sing Karaoke (Mon. & Wed. nights), and we had always enjoyed going there. However, our last few visits have left A LOT to be desired! The serving staff is laughable- I used to be a server, and I could NOT believe how... more

The immediate feeling upon arrival is a welcoming note of Tequila. This place breathes southwest chile fire. If I had a dollar for every type of tequila they've got, I'd pay for my family's drinks and meal and still have some left over. The food has a unique element of flare with all the right touches. Everything I've tried is... more

Staff is very slow and rude. We sat for over an hour waiting on our check. Walked outside to find our server and they wanted to charge us to re-enter to pay the check. Very immature staff! more

The southwest mex food is awesome, if you are looking for something different this is the place to go! They have a unique salsa that they serve with the chips that will keep you coming back for more, not to mention the 100's of tequila's they have to choose from and a full bar. I have to say the bartenders... more

I used to love going to coyotes until the horrible experience I had at my recent visit. I was there for a few drinks with friends. One of my friends was reluctant to go because of a bad experience she had with the staff but since I was a regular I convinced her to try it out again. We sat... more
