Nicely maintained park where we play tennis frequently, however with summer time it gets difficult to get a court during the week due to classes and private lessons. The playground area is great for kids and this is a safe neighborhood so parents can chill and read a book while their kids run around. The tennis courts are well lit... More

My wife and I came here to play tennis and were pleasantly surprised by how well kept up and quiet it was. Quiet for a tennis court that is. It is surrounded by a baseball field and a playground so expect other people to be doing activities around you.

Unfortunately I got there when it was super foggy otherwise I would have rated this place as excellent. I missed the view, but you can tell about the incredible and efficient maintenance work they do all to keep this park pretty! After all I managed to have a great time!

You can hike for a couple of hours or more in this open space. It leads up to a 360 degree view, which is lovely. Dog friendly. There are signs that your dog has to be on leash but the locals say otherwise. Use your judgement and let your dog be a dog if he/she is well behaved.

Fun park, they have baseball fields, basketball courts inside and outside. Carlsbad Community Center also holds classes inside. A nice playground for the kids. There are table and places to grill if you want to. Outside tennis courts as well.

Great place to spend an afternoon walking/hiking this expansive set of trails. There are railed walkways and open areas that challenge the best when climbing the peak and down. The views from the top of the ocean and the large lake embedded below is breathtaking as is the clean clear air. Just a fun day withe the dogs too if... More

I love to hike to the top of Calavera hill... 30-45 minutes. On a clear day you can see 180 views of the ocean.

We had our homeschool PE classes there for quite sometime before the park administrators decided to charge and put more stricter rules for holding classes there. The park is well maintained and has your usual outdoor basketball and tennis courts. Nice fields for baseball and soccer games. There's a big playground area and covered prevalion. The indoor gym can use... More
