Could have sat here all day. The beach is huge and wide! Clean sand with no rocks or coral to worry about. Showers and washrooms but hey are public so use with caution. Not really any stores or things to do on the beachwalk itself. Park on the street for free or on the beach for a fee.

I love the beach wall walk area..two levels. One at street and one below at beach level. Lots of surfers and paddle boarders put. Lots of beach space to play. Clean.

Great beach, nice and quiet! Lots of rocks on the beach, but still very nice. Water was cold in January as expected, but there were still some surfers out and the kids didn't seem to mind.

One of the most beautiful beaches anywhere, it stretches into the distance in both directions. Down a long flight of stairs, it's a wide beach with rolling waves. Too cold for me to swim in January, bummer.

Was very clean and easy to get to. Lots of people walking or exercising. Love this beach and its not overly crowded like some beaches in Cali tend to be.

What trip to So Cal is complete without a walk on the beach? Today we took the Coaster train from Oceanside to Carlsbad and spent time walking on the beach. Okay, it isn't Maui nor is it the Caribbean but it is still very special and the visitor would miss a lot by not walking on this lovely stretch of... More

There is a nice walkway along the beach. It was a beautiful beach but access was not very easy. The area was mostly residential rather than businesses which surprised me. The town is incredibly friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed this beach, lots of surfers, runners and great walks, can take the stairs directly down to the beach, loved whale watching and the great sunsets.
