Great course to take the kids, everyone is wacking away, no issues with pace of play etc- just go to have fun. However, the greens are 'domed' shaped- not sure why, it may be for drainage, but it can be fustrating (up one side, roll down the other). Price is right, and they have a ranch. First a disclaimer: I live at Rancho Carlsbad Mobile Estates -- a mobile home community immediately adjacent to the Golf Course. I am a member of the golf club and try to golf at least every other day. If you are up for a par-3 challenge, you will like this course. I personally love the course despite its obvious shortcomings.... more
