As homebrewers we've developed a passion for hand crafted beer. This passion has inspired us to create a unique tour that highlights San Diego's scenic beauty, awesome food, and most of all radical micro-breweries. San Diego is also becoming widely known for its many award winning Craft Breweries. San Diego currently has 36 Breweries crafting some of America's most highly awarded Pale Ales, Stouts, IPA's, and Porters, etc

We planned this tour as part of a bachelorette party. We did the 10:30 North County tour. Brian was a great guide who was very laid back and knowledgable about beer. The mornings tour seemed like an early start but it was quite nice that the first two breweries were not busy during our tour. We enjoyed all the beer... More

We organised this tour as part of a birthday weekend and it was a sensational way to kick it off. Adam the tour guide and owner picked us up at the hotel and as there were only 4 of us (low numbers normally equals cancellation) we felt like VIPs driving in the military truck. We took in 3 venues ,... More

It was awesomeness. Except for Booze Bros. They had a very small selection. They were out of a lot, and everything they had was an IPA or light beer so for you Lager, Stout, Amber Ale, Porter people out there this place may not be the best for you. I did not like any of the four tasters i had... More

Wow, this past Saturday ten of us enjoyed the Scavengers Beer and BBQ Tour. We were celebrating a bachelor/ette party and we wanted a fun and safe night. It was awesome! Joseph our driver/guide picked us up at a preset location with this Swiss Military Vehicle, it held all ten of us very comfortably. We hit three great local Breweries;... More

I wanted to do something different for my birthday this year and always wanted to do a brewery tour. I researched a lot of different ones and this one by far had the best reviews. Plus, no other tour drove you around in a military vehicle. I am sooooo glad I booked this tour. My friends and I had an... More

Adam the owner puts on a great tour. He picked my wife, a friend and I at the place we were staying in Carlsbad and took us on a terrific tour of 3 brewery's. You do get plenty enough to drinks/pous/beers for the fee, so be careful. The truck they use for the tour is very cool. Adam makes sure... More

The owner Adam and our tour guide Brian were loads of fun. They knew the San Diego area and most importantly the knew BEER! We took a family member on the tour to celebrate their 60th birthday and we couldn't be any happier with the experience. Okay, one annoyance the brewery's were a bit crowed but what did we expect... Celebrated my 50th birthday with a trip to San Diego and the Scavenger's tour. I never travel without seeking out the best in local brews, and have been to the Great American Beer Festival several times, but this beat any other experience. The uniqueness of the ride in the military vehicle, the choice of breweries, and the knowledge and personal... More

I took my husband on this tour for his birthday and we both had a blast!! Adam did a great job of organizing the day and keeping everybody on schedule. Loved all of the craft beers we tasted and lunch was fabulous! It was a great day and we will certainly be going again! Thanks Adam!
