My daughter and I rented jet ski's. Awesome time. No wait, and the young kids seemed to be on top of everything, including somewhat rowdy jet skiers. We had so much fun.

Wife and I rented SUP and paddled the entire Lagoon. Had a Groupon that helped . My wife likes the SUP and it was good exercise. take a pack with some water for your wife and you as it can take awhile to paddle it.

It was awesome, my kids and I had so much fun!!! I am so scared of the water!!! I told one of the guys, I could be wrong but I think his name is Garret, that I was just trying to suck up my fear so the kids could have fun on the jet ski and he was Sooooo nice,... More

the rental for jet skis has been there for a long time. they do a good job keeping everything clean and in good working order. they have different types of rentals for all ages. we always go there when we say in Carlsbad. you can bring a lunch and sit by the water.

Rented a wave runner. Good for an hour for the kids. Would come back. Bring your own food and drinks.

We loved the Lagoon!! We spent several hours there. There are picnic tables, water trampolines, water bikes, jet skis, etc. It's great for every style family!! The only dislike I had was that the snack bar was not a snack bar and I was starving. The check in counter had several candy bars to select from, but if families are... More

Used a groupon for me and my fiancee and planned a beautiful day on the lagoon paddleboarding. By the time we arrived, the Poinsettia fire had ignited and the dark smoke made the situation evident. It looked like it was just over the hill on the south side of the lagoon. We spend two and half hours and had a... More

Want to get away for a few hours, this is a great place to go. We have rented Kayaks several times and each time the experience has been great. Bring lunch and some beach chairs and hang out in the sun or go for a swim. The staff is friendly and easy going, we will be back!

Carlsbad Lagoon was a last minute decision to enjoy the great weather plus trying kayaking for the first time. We rented double open kayaks for an hour; very reasonable price and friendly staff. An hour is enough for your first time, trust me. The kids get tired quick, especially on the way back with the tide and wind against you.... More

We rented some jet skis at Carlsbad Lagoon in order to reward our kids for their good grades. The kids LOVED it! It was close by, affordable, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it. I have also gone paddle boarding on this lagoon, and found it very peaceful and relaxing once you move east of the freeway... More
