I enjoyed my round at Aviara yesterday, though I didn't play well. I had gone to an LGPA tournament there some months ago, and when the opportunity to play the course presented itself, I jumped at it. The course, which is in immaculate shape, is hilly. The par three holes are spectacular, but some of the other holes are average. The... More

Our family has been traveling from the midwest to Carlsbad to play golf at Aviara Golf Club for over ten years. This Palmer designed course is one of the most beautiful courses in all of Southern California. At first, the extra large greens appear to make hitting the green easier, but then the challenge of putting 50 feet makes you... More

The awesome beauty of this course is breathtaking and it is obvious why the LPGA has made it their choice. The water features, Pro shop, carts, and the manicured greens set this apart from any of the area courses. My son is a member and this is his home course, so the many annual visits afford me with this luxury... More

The course was challenging, built for the more advanced golfer. At any level you'll love the course (at least for the scenery), just don't get angry if your stroke count is high...with rolling fairways, 7 water features and much more...it's definitely not your home course. You feel like you've accomplished something the pros play when you're through. The staff was... More

This was a very nice course and not at all like the courses on the coast. Great greens and all turf is superbly kept up. There is a lot of work in this course and you can tell they work on it all the time. Carts have gps in them and you have distance measurements unless you have your own.... More

The service - golf course and beauty of the whole property made you feel like you were in the garden of Eden.. Slightly hard to find the entrance - but it is right off the 5.. Rates are high, but it is paradise.

I've never been to Augusta National, but this is what I imagine it to be. Colors everywhere. Elevation change, rolling fairways, huge greens. 18 interesting holes. This is my favorite public course in the state, (though I haven't played Pebble/spyglass yet). Their main competitors for their price range has to be Pelican Hill and Maderas. Both very nice and fun... More

This is a very well manicured resort course with a price to match, although twilight is a good deal. We play on our annual visit to Aviara and are never disappointed. Fine restaurant on site also, Argyle.

try golf now for maybe a better break.....they don't giveaway anything because they don't have to. The course is beautiful and challenging and the staff couldn't be nicer. a mile away is the crossings that you can play for a quarter of the price....but if you have the money flaunt it and play the course....

Great course. I would love to be a member if it was a private club. It is just as beautiful as most of the courses in Hawaii. It is in excellent condition and is very challenging with out being too hard. I live in Carlsbad and would play here more often if it wasn't so pricey.
