Lines that lead to attractions meant for children under 8 years old. Unfortunately, we were fulfilling the dreams of a 12 year old LEGO fanatic. There weren't good food selections, the rides were slow and for very small children, the live entertainment looked like cancelled children's programming from Nickelodeon and there wasn't a single "deal" on LEGO bricks to be... We visited Legoland during our visit to Carlsbad last October. Make sure you check out Legoland's website before your visit because in the fall they are not open everyday of the week. Our visit fell on Columbus Day (it would have not been my first choice to go on holiday, but because of the timing of our trip and because... More

It is kids friendly! If you are into miniature models or Star wars, you should definitely visit. There are some long lines though, so I would plan the day to come early and leave late. Also if you enjoy legos, this is the place to go.

LEGOLAND is not as crowded as Disney. Spent two days there. Only a long wait on two or three rides. The little ones can go on almost all the rides. All of the rides are fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days (yes, two) at Legoland. Taking advantage of a special for the second day for free AND a discount because staying at the hotel, it made the two day option realistic for our family. It also makes it a great entertainment value. We took our 4 and 6 year olds to Legoland and they had... More

The staff was great and it was a okay visit, but it just had the potential to be so much more. I thought legoland was going to be unique. It has a couple small highlights but they aren't worth the price of admission. The highlight for my kids was walking around and looking at the mini towns and sets of... More

This park is the place to be if you like legos. There is a lot to do and see. The staff is great and the place is very clean.

Lots of comments about how busy it is, surely this can't be a surprise?? We've been a number of times and there's 2 tips I'd give. Firstly stay at the Sheraton and use the back entrance gate. The Sheraton has some decent offers off season and it's also a lovely hotel. Then go early and blitz the rides at the... More

We stayed at the hotel: The room has bunk beds. Let's be clear, no one over the age of ten will be comfortable in the very small bunk beds they offer. And they offer an early morning that if you have a bracelet you can come in an hour early before general public enters, no rides are open. To me,... More

Well they really get you from the parking to the gate admission to stores all through the park. I guess my rub was that each adult is paying over $80 and you have to pay for parking - that's just a rip off. My 3 and 5 year old boys really did have a lot of fun with rides that... More
