So how do they know that this is the spot where Jesus multiplied the fishes & bread? I am skeptical that this happened here & just think it's a rip off. In my opinion, it's really not worth the parking fee or the stop. There are better more interesting things to do in the area & I would not recommend... More

A picturesque church with a nice courtyard and pond, there is a small shop on site and ample parking. The mosaics on the floor are nice.

Very simple church with yard with an olive tree and colourful fish. Go inside and try to imagine Jesus' miracle. Enjoy the beautiful floor mosaic.

There is a rock in the center of this church where Jesus stood and blessed 5 loaves and 2 fishes to feed 5000 men and still there were crumbs left to fill 12 baskets.

....of two fish and a breadbasket is right here in the Church of the Multiplication. The Church is built on a site where Jesus made a miracle, where he multiplied bread and fish and fed 5000 people. The beautiful mosaic is on the floor below a simple altar.

I really do not like being dependent only on my guide . Sometimes we do not choose the guide and do not know his knowledge level - I think that a brochure that will be distrributed to each person entering the site will help !!

Church of fairly recent vintage on a site of dubious historical authenticity. Still: Pretty church, pretty view. Parking charge that yeah, doesn't merit the short visit. Nice snack bar. A bit further up the road you come on some picture postcard tableaux of cows.

We were staying at the Greek Orthodox Monastery right down the road called The Church of the 12 Disciples. Our friend the monk that is in charge of the church & monastery recommend that this site be visited. We are very glad that we did. The site is a very peaceful & tranquil spot right on the Sea of Galilee.... More

It is located in a beautiful place close to the Sea of Galilea, the church is also beautiful, with early Christian mosaics. It's definitely worth visiting.

Site is basically a church and hostel complex build by Germans in the 1930s. Center of the church has a rock feature, symbolic of where Jesus performed this miracle. Good place to reflect and pray. Parking is costly for short stay required.
