I just loved this place, by far and away the best snow, facilities and relaxed friendly atmosphere compared with anywhere else I have ever been. Travelled with a group of nine and including my son who had never skied before. We had a fantastic time and there are slopes for every level of skier, even from the top of the... More

This is the best snow I've experienced through all my years of skiing since '81. Better than any resort west of the rockies of North America, Canadian and American. Dry and fluffy, not the least bit icy at all. Although the trails were not very long, I'll take that anytime over icy conditions. You haven't had good snow till you... More

The runs from the Gondola are limited, and ordinary compared to Annupuri, Grand Hirafu and Hanazono. The bubble gondola from the Hilton is deadly slow and very small. Anyone large will struggle if sharing a seat. Exit from the Gondola required a long trudge to the right to cross over to Hirafu, or left down to the Wonderland chair to... More

Niseko was great, but i preferred the other Japanese ski resort we went to. To elaborate: Niseko is known for it's powder snow. That's its thing, and it's excellent. It is frequently snowing in Niseko and as such, visibility can be mean and it can get incredibly cold. We were lucky - on the day we were there it was... More

Niseko is a beautiful place but I don't find it authentic. Almost everything is ran by Australian and sounded/made/designed for Australian. It feels more like going to Australia than going to Japan. Nothing is wrong with that just if you want a true authentic place with true Japanese culture, skip Niseko. The good thing is if you are an English... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Green Leaf NV, this is my second stay. I m considering of coming back in 2015. The mountain is so huge theres so much to do, contrary to some reviews, if you have the United Niseko Lift pass, this entitles you access to four resorts including Hirafu, Hazone, NV and the one next to... This makes a huge difference in your ski experience. People go there for exactly that - the powder snow! We've been to Niseko Village 2 years in a row and still loving it! The entire ski experience is amazing from accommodation, skiing to food. I have been booking my accommodation through www.holidayniseko.com, renting Shiki & Koyuki and we love the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed snowboarding here. People spoke Englisg and we're welcoming of tourists. Prices were decent and the snow was great. The shuttle service was great and made life easier. The food on the mountain was fantastic, especially the ace place up top. The chefs took great pride in their work. I would have given 5 stars, but the conditions... More

Stayed at Niseko Green Leaf which offers great ski-in/out facilities to this ski resort. This ski resort offers some reasonable runs with great "warm up" runs from the Banzai chairlift and some pretty challenging runs from the Mori-No chairlift. It gets better from there - ski over to the Niseko Gondola which gives you some longer and challenging runs. Things... More

We stayed a week - the staff at all restaurants and lifts etc are fantastic. At times the lifts and gondola were busy but wait times fine. Ski in and out from the hotel and staff look after all your gear if you are staying at the hotel. All very convenient. If you can afford it, stay at the Hilton.... More
