The Boardwalk is just that, a wood slatted walkway above the ocean without having to get sand on your or having to worry about the tide. The winter ocean is always the most gorgeous in my opinion, and it was such a becautiful scene while walking the Boardwalk in January during our Cambria visit. We will always stop and stretch... It's just a nice drive along the coast. There is also a boardwalk that is about one and one-half mile.

A place to visit when you're in Cambria. It is a place where you can communicate with nature and hear them.

Moonstone Drive is an old fashioned wood walkway that winds around Moonstone Beach. A more peaceful location cannot be found. I especially enjoy Moonstone Drive during the winter months when fewer tourists (like me) are there. My wife and I usually stroll down Moonstone Drive in October or November. Try taking a walk down this Cambria landmark at night...it is... More

If you're looking for places to stay while visiting Cambria. you must check out the inns on Moonstone Drive. They are all located across the street from the ocean which, needless to say, provides great views and the opportunity to walk along the boardwalk and soak up the atmosphere. The views are breathtaking especially at sunset.

We stayed at one of the inns right on moonstone drive across the beach and were able to enjoy two beautiful mornings and sunsets! The beach has brown/black pebbels so don't expect a soft seat but the walk along the shores are fun with tide pools in some of the areas. Be sure to know when the low and high tides... More

I have to take a walk on Moonstone beech every time I visit Cambria. It is always a highlight of my stay. Ocean views from here are beautiful! There are places where you can find a nice bench and just take in the scenery. There is plenty of parking and the path is really flat. Many people are walking there... More

This couple of miles of coastline is wonderfully scenic and picturesque. Whether you stay across the street at one of the inns/motels or visitor for a stroll along the California coastline, this is a magical stretch of land.
