Beautiful, well-maintained walk along the coast. Meadows(saw deer on one occasion) on one side, gorgeous sea-coast on the other.

Beautiful walk on a well maintained easy walk on boardwalk with spectacular ocean views. Lots of benches along boardwalk to sit and enjoy ocean views.

If you must stay in Cambria, this wood plank walkway provides a nice place to stroll overlooking the beach and coastline. I just wish it were lighted because there are no sidewalks on Moonstone Drive. At night you have to walk along the road shoulder with traffic and headlights whizzing by to get to either of the two restaurants, Cambria... More

This is the small highway that parallels Hwy 1, and is where all of the small boutique hotels that face the water are located. You can pull over just about anywhere on the beach side, enjoy the view, and take a stroll along the elevated cliffs or shoreline. Beautiful views!

Fantastic views; good walking trails, nice beach. Even on a drizzly, yes rain in California, this is total joy to walk trails. Close to town but you feel like your miles from civilization!.

When we were there in October this year, it was so fun to drive Moonstone Drive as it was during their annual scarecrow festival. Each of the inns and lodges there had a scarecrow by their place. In addition, we were there on a very clear warm October day so the stops we did at the ocean parks were amazing.... More

This is a lovely drive along the coast. It has ample space for walking along the side and the traffic is very low and slow. You have a beautiful view of the coast too!

We walked down Moonstone Drive from our hotel and it was a great walk. It's right next to the ocean so the view is wonderful. We also drove down it a couple of times slowly and it's a great drive with lovely scenery.

Moonstone Drive has one of the most blissful water views on the California coast. You can drive down the street but it will be difficult keeping your eyes on the road. There are several parking sections, park along the road or the day parking lots at either end of the Drive. It is an easy walk along the wooden boardwalk... More

Have never been to Cambria and booked our B&B (White Water Inn) on Moonstone Drive after reading about it on Trip Advisor. The Inn is lovely and the boardwalk on the beach is right across the street. What a lovely place!
