My husband and I went on the Paso Robles Cass Winery Ride with Mick in April and had a wonderful time. It was a pleasant one hour ride. The horses are healthy and fitted with customized tack which shows consideration for their individual needs. Mick was friendly and helpful and, time and resources permitting, we would love to come back... More

We recently treated ourselves to a leisurely horse and wagon ride along the coast at Cambria. We took several grandchildren and they had a great time. The ride is along the paved coastal street where many of the smaller local hotels have a front porch view of the Pacific which makes it easy for visitors to hop on and off.... More

We decided to do the "Trailblazer" when we discovered it was offered at the Calcareous Winery in Paso Robles. My wife, I and 2 great friends headed out on an adventure of wine tasting and fun on October 9, 2013. We arrived at the winery at about 12:30 and were met by Mick. We walked up to the horses and... I took the trail that went into the mountains -- BREATHTAKING! The views overlooking the entire area were just beautiful. There were several lookout spots for the postcard pictures. Even though it was spring, the air was chilly because it was very windy. Dress in layers and be prepared for whatever the weather offers.

We decided to do something a little different and booked a one hour trail ride into the coastal hills with Outback. The wranglers were all very friendly and helpful. (Well worth leaving them a nice tip at the end of the ride.) The horses were all very well trained, cooperative and easy to ride. A good time without over doing... More

I was needing info from OBTR so I called and left a message , when I didn't get a call back two days later I called again. No answer, not even a machine this time. So I emailed, still no response. I gave up after two more tries on the phone. Disappointed.

This was a treat. My wife and I had Mick as a guide and took the sunset ride. The rolling hills, live cattle, incredible vistas, and the ocean view at sunset was simply incredible and will provide lasting memories. Mick has many good stories on the way, and I rode out on Billy the Black. Horses are some of the... More

I have been out with a few companies, and this is by far the best because it's not a one size fits all. They really do base it off of your riding experience. We had a great time and the views are second to none and we will go back and ride with them again.

What a weekend! This was a reunion of 3 women who hadn't seen each other since college in 1973 on the East coast-what a trip. Mick is very helpful and friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. We had a wonderful 1 1/2 hour Sunset ride with our guides Sherrie and Heather. We are all somewhat experienced as riders,...
