Nit Witt Ridge is outsider art at its finest. It is a huge ramshackle home built by the town's garbage man starting in the 20's until the 70's I believe. It is built from bits, pieces and trash. My boyfriend and I visited on November 29, 2005. Michael gives an excellent and exuberant tour. We were absolutely amazed at the ingenuity and artistic talents of Mr. Art Beal. So intriguing, interesting and fun! Mike the tour guide packs the tour with lots of stories creating a quaint portrait of a wacky, resourceful, poetic individual.
