This is a great tasting room with friendly and engaging staff. The wine selection is good and the tasting guide very helpful, but the whole experience is made so much more homely by the attentions of Kiefer the dog. More

Excellent wines, friendly tasting room. If you go give Kiefer a pet for us, he's a rad tasting room dog with a good rescue story. More

It is just a tasting, no tour, it is $5.00 if you don;t buy. The wine was the best we tasted out of 4 local wineries More

My husband and I visited several years ago on a trip to Napa. We found this winery accidentally as we were leisurely making our way through an afternoon of wine tasting. We were extremely impressed by the service. We were invited for a barrel tasting by the owner's father during our visit. We were so impressed by the hospitality and... More

A phenomenal wine tasting with a great small family atmosphere. This place is great! I went with a group of 4 and they fit us in even though it was busy... they do not take reservations which is great for a small winery in case you just want to stop in and taste. Jesse, the owner's nephew poured for us... More

We visited here as a part of a wine tour and was very excited to visit after reading the reviews. The tasting room is very humble. The service was ok at best - server really didn't seem interested in being more than pleasant at best. The wine was terrible. Apparently each week they change the wines on their menus. We... More

We've been visiting Bob Briggs for several years now, and are particularly impressed by the consistently outstanding hospitality to which we are treated. Though the tasting room is itself rather small, the staff always goes out of their way to make guests feel welcome---adding to the welcoming allure is the absence of a tasting fee. I come for the Pinot... More

I swore when we found this winery last year that I would not put out a review. This was only because I wanted to keep August Briggs a secret. Once the word is out in Napa Valley you can barely get your nose in the door. Well, hopefully it will be awhile before that happens but huge YUM-O's for their... More
