This property is beautiful! Its got a very dessert decor feel to it, it reminded me of Palm Springs. We didn't stay here, but came just for the mud bath experience. While we waited, we played bocce ball out front and walked around the gorgeous property. The mud bath is a very different experience. It is very relaxing, but it... More

Wow, what a beautiful property. We booked a massage and bought pool passes for the day. Our massage was amazing, exactly what we needed. We rested by the buddah pond afterwards, heaven. I highly suggest having brunch at the restaurant then going for a dip and a steam at the hot pool and then massage and treatments for total relaxation.... More

The mineral pool area was nice, comfortable and very relaxing. Overall, the hotel was lovely but we were a little disappointed in the amenities we would have expected for a resort of this area and price range. We wanted to order spa services while were were visiting, and despite calling during normal business hours on the day we arrived, we... More

Its a good idea to think about getting the house if you have more than 4 people. When we booked the house, we got 2 free mud baths, so we booked 2 massages after that. Well worth it, fantastic experience!

Over priced for spa and pool facilities in shabby condition. They keep expanding room accommodations while doing nothing with the very run down dressing room and showers. Large pool has peeling paint. You are not allowed to bring food to pool area because they want you to eat at the new restaurant named after California's first millionaire. I've been celebrating... I adore Indian Springs and, when I can save up to go there, I absolutely looove to pamper myself with their mud baths, soak in Calistoga's famous waters, and massage. Indian Springs stands as a testament to a time when people cared about vacations as relaxation, when instead of cramming 15 stops a day in, a long, luxurious volcanic ash... More

You have to appreciate kitsch to like this place. it seems like a throw back from earlier in the 20th century. But actually, I liked that. If you take a mud bath, you'll be in a common room, in my case, women only, and the first thing you do is take a shower naked in front of a room full... More

For a first timer, it was an interesting adventure but I wouldn't return. The heat of the mud, soak and steam, all in immediate succession, is intense. It wasn't restful or rejuvenating. It felt like a boot camp, with a brutish drill sergeant ordering you from one exercise to the next; sit there... put your legs down... wrap the towel... More

Pricy but worth every penny. Hot spring pool is beyond grate all the arthritic pains were gone in the water. Loads of rafts or noodles to use

Retro chic grounds, wonderful services and well appointed rooms. They were only missing food but it's a 5 minute walk to downtown Calistoga. I had a wonderful massage and the we soaked in the hot springs fed pools which were nearly deserted at night. The spa menu is extensive and the rooms are clean. The only downside was construction noise... More
