They said there'd be some construction. I pictured a little hammering. Instead - our little cottage shook like Armageddon.

We were in a group of 7 driving up from the bay area. We took time off ( 1 night) from our busy schedules as night shift nurses. Our schedule was confirmed and the services we chose were paid for two weeks in advance. After working Saturday night, 7 of us piled into two cars and went to Napa then... More

Last week I had the Mud Bath Ritual followed by a massage. The experience was amazing and totally fun. If you are modest or shy I would not recommend this experience. If you are open to new things, you need to try this---you will become so relaxed. It is very authentic, do not expect the Mandarin Oriental Spa. The massage... More

On a recent motorcycle trip to Calistoga, we booked appointments for mud baths which was heavenly. Then we went and soaked in the hot springs pool which was very relaxing. If we didn't have dinner plans, I'd probably still be in the pool! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back again! :)

Love this place. I was first introduced to the mud baths here in 1998. I have made a point to return every two or three years. I really like the new hotel. It has the feel of a B&B and the new bathrooms are awesome. I enjoy walking around the grounds, the abundance of cucumber water, the hammocks, the mineral... More

I came here with co workers for a massage day. We arrived early and hit the mineral pool. The pool was warm and the best way to start really enjoying the resort. They have hammocks and different flavored water everywhere, cucumber, melon, etc. The robes you wear around the resort were very comfortable. The massage was awesome and the Buddah... More

My first, and last, experience in a bath of geyser water and volcanic ash- mud. Heavy, steamy, and supposedly cleansing, but I truly prefer massage! Indian Springs does have a large thermal pool, and attractive massage rooms.

Really great place. Mud baths were muddy. Grounds were beautiful. Don't expect frills because they aren't there but it is a great experience. If you have kids they have to be 16 or 17. There is a great pool that is heated by the hot springs. Tons of floatties in the pool. That in and of itself was worth it.... More

My two daughters and I felt like new people after enjoying the spa for half a day. Fyi, they won't allow anyone under 17 to have a massage or volcanic mud treatment. Perhaps its because these involve being naked for brief periods while transferring from shower to mud etc. But the daughters were happy with great facials and the laze... More

Indian Springs spa has been in Calistoga for decades. It has a huge mineral pool (from mineral fed springs) and a full array of spa services. If you buy a spa service you can enjoy the pools all day. A lovely retreat, and rated "one of California's best pools," by California magazine.
