Fabulous R & R resort

Pricy but worth every penny. Hot spring pool is beyond grate all the arthritic pains were gone in the water. Loads of rafts or noodles to use

For a first timer, it was an interesting adventure but I wouldn't return. The heat of the mud, soak and steam, all in immediate succession, is intense. It wasn't restful or rejuvenating. It felt like a boot camp, with a brutish drill sergeant ordering you from one exercise to the next; sit there... put your legs down... wrap the towel... More

Retro chic grounds, wonderful services and well appointed rooms. They were only missing food but it's a 5 minute walk to downtown Calistoga. I had a wonderful massage and the we soaked in the hot springs fed pools which were nearly deserted at night. The spa menu is extensive and the rooms are clean. The only downside was construction noise... More

The site is great. Welcoming. I had one incident with a manager discussing business loudly in a relaxation area while I was trying to meditate. Handled that privately. The massage services are among the best. The pool is a place for spending the day between treatments. Didn't have a chance to try the mud bath this time. Spotlessly clean. An... More

Overpriced for what it is! 10mins in the mudbath, and a series of "fluff" experiences afterwards, as you parade around naked in front of a dozen service employees, going from each section of the room, to the next. When you book, they dont tell you that the mudbath is really just 10mins. My 65yo mother (slight back issues), could not... More

I brought my 22 yr-old daughter up from Sonoma for a girls get-a-way and the mudbath was great fun. It was warm and relaxing, but you cannot be shy because you are in a communal room. Since it was mid week, we were able to use the huge, outdoor pool afterward, at no charge. The pool was 100 degrees, so... More

loved my visit to Indian Springs , and took my first mud bath. Wonderful zoning out for a little while , and after you are done with services, you can meditate by the Buddha pool or swim in the larger Olympic sized pool Very clean facilities and care and comfort is taken with all of the customers. I will happily... More

I did the mud bath twice in 3 days at Indian springs resort. The staff are friendly and very helpful in deciding WHAT YOU WANT. Very clean. The construction did not interfere with my schedule or experience in the best mud bath. The staff let me know of specials going on before I booked appointment. I did not stay in... More

Indian Springs is located just outside of downtown Calistoga and is reasonably priced for mud baths. The pool is no longer included, hence the docking of 1 star. I hear it used to be included but now it's an extra $20. The volcanic mud bath was great- whole thing was 50 minutes (12 minutes in the mud bath, probably another... More

Four of us had massages , and we all had different experiences. My therapist was not good, I specifically mentioned to her to only work on my back/ shoulders and feet and I like it really deep..instead, she started massaging my legs, had to stop her, then, my armes...The pressure was light, I asked again to please be firmer, but...
