Surprised my husband with a hot air balloon ride for his birthday. Scheduled online - was very easy process. We called one hour before departing and they confirmed the ride was a go. We arrived at the pick up site and signed in. We were told that the wind wasn't cooperating and we'd be driving about a half hour away... More

We're extremely sorry for the weather and the cancellation. We've had lots of fog this year and unfortunately we've had some cancellations over that time. Whenever you can experience a balloon excursion, you should definitely try again, wherever you choose. It is an once in a lifetime experience. More

Fog settled in over the Calistoga area. I get it, you cannot control the weather. Your plan B is to drive some 30 minutes east to a cow pasture. As professional pilots or so you say I am shocked. Essentially, you stole from us. We paid $1600 for a private ballon. You should be ashamed of yourself. You flew us... More

Our company offers an optional flight corridor when weather does not allow flight in the primary flight location. If customers choose not to avail themselves of tis offer, they are given a 100% refund. This is explained on our website, brochures, as well as on the disclaimer page signed on the day of the flight. Scenery is as the Napa... More

While I cannot speak to an actual ballooning experience - I did learn quite a bit about this company and how it operates. First, don't buy a package. Buy your wine tours or other extras separately as they cannot be refunded if you balloon ride is cancelled (as ours was). Although the balloon pilot took our winery tour tickets from... More

We were glad we booked this activity, but we were unfortunately disappointed that the weather did not allow us to fly over Napa and the wineries. To give the Company it's due however, they did offer to either rebook another day or drive us to another fog free location, which we decided to do. Our Pilot, Bob, was excellent and... More

This will be a difficult rating to make. There were good and bad experiences in our trip. Let me explain: My wife and I were staying in San Francisco, a 2 hour drive away. This is bad. I would recommend you take the trip from Napa itself. Since your meeting time is 5:45, we had to get up at 3:00... More

Thank you for your review. I am already in contact with the booking company that you used and we are suggesting that people stay in the Napa Valley when ballooning. I wish the weather would have been better so we could fly you in the valley. Thank you for your comments about the staff and crew. We really appreciate the... More

Such an awesome experience! Being scared of heights I thought I would have an anxiety attack going up in the air but I was surprised too see that this wasn't the case. It was fun watching the air balloon being set up and not to mention the ride itself. The captain definitely made up for a great time too, he... More

Exceeded our expectations in every way. Professional and friendly staff, especially our pilot Bob. Really went out of his way to make it a fun experience. We did the add-on package of champagne brunch and bike ride to the wineries. So glad we did those extra things. We had the best day ever! Highly recommend these folks.

Had a great time. The day we were scheduled to fly there was too much fog so we easily rescheduled for the following day. The crew was professional and was knowledgeable. We had done the brunch package and we were running a little behind so our pilot was nice enough to call our B&B to get us an extra hour... More

Had to wake up early to be picked up by 6 am. Had to travel 45 minutes from original site due to fog, didn't get to see all the wine vineyard due to fog but other wise a nice balloon ride, better safe than sorry. It was interested to see how they rigged it up. The landing was smooth. Expecting... More

While the idea of hot air ballooning seems thrilling, this is not where you want to have your first experience. I expected to be in the balloon while the sun was coming up, however it took a few hours from the time we left to even get in the air. The crew seemed like minimum wage workers who had no... More
