This little lavender gem of a place was a highlight of our all too short stay in Calistoga. We had a volcanic mud bath followed by a one hour deep tissue massage. The women bath house assistants were very professional yet friendly and very helpful. One masseuse was unexpectedly unavailable so we had a complimentary salt scrub which was heavenly.... More

Wow! This place was perfect. The staff, facility and massages were all outstanding. Each detail was attended to: fresh fruit, waters, cold compresses in the hot bathes, robes, towels and foot rubs before the massage. One of the best I've ever had. He asked where I wanted extra pressure and delivered appropriately. I wish I could visit each week.

Then this place is for you. I've had regular massages for years and have very rarely had one I did not enjoy. I actually could not wait for this one to be over. The therapist just kept talking and talking. She did apply pressure, but the endless petting was really annoying. She also did not massage both sides of my... More

My husband & I had a great mid-week winter special: 2 massages & 2 mineral baths (I hour each) for $189. A terrific bargain. The baths were given in a private cottage with the tubs side-by-side. I had the volcanic mud & my husband had the seaweed. The mud was not thick and gooey like other mud baths I've had... More

Decided to do a mud bath that Calistoga is so famous for. Asked the locals for some advice concerning Mud Baths and spas. We decided to check out Lavender Hill Spa and the choice was the right one. Relaxing, soothing and memorable. I would encourage anyone who wants to experience a bath where you soak in volcanic mud to do... More

We enjoyed the lavender baths which were very sensual and soothing. Your skin will feel really good afterwards. Your attendant will ask whether you want the jets turned on. Do it. Not only is the whirlpool relaxing, but it also really puts the lavender scent into the air which we enjoyed. Even if you do not opt for the massages,... More

Visited Lavender Hill just before Christmas, taking advantage of a special advertised on their website, $189 for a couple, including baths, foot rubs and massages. The baths were nice and the foot rubs were good, but both of us had the same reaction to the massages: very possibly the best we have ever had in the US. Yes, the parking... More

I have been to so many places in the Napa area, I noticed the trip advisor logo on their door , which thank you Lavender now I can share my experiences starting with you. Very expensive and if you ask about the treatments and do your research almost all sound pretty but not top notch. There are many places where... More

This is a very high end spa, we had a couples massage and some in the tubs, last time I will do that they ( them and my wife) said I had to be quiet. That not relaxing to me so I tried to see how high I could get the bubbles in my tub then I started to relax

If you notice, all the bad reviews are from over 2 years ago. My wife and I went in early December, in our early thirties. Two words, absolutely amazing! This was great, they have a two for one deal right now, both my wife and I were in the same room for a 30 minute tub soak with special blend... More
