Our favorite winery. Friendly staff, nice picnic area. For us this is the other end of the scale from a Beringer-style winery. We came prepared to picnic and it turned out great. Had their award winning Chard with lunch and left with more Rouge. We're good if the world doesn't know any more about this place. Definite go back for... More

The wines are good, especially the sparklers. The staff gives it a fun atmosphere. More

This was our second vineyard visit and after the delightful small organic predecessor, we were a bit taken aback by the size and slickness of Frank family vineyard. However, everyone else was obviously enjoying themselves and there was a bit of a party atmosphere and the wine was very good and the facilities excellent. However, our memory will be of... More

I loved this Vineyard. My fiance and I went to a tasting at 10 am and it was a laugh factory and a total comedy show. I laughed, I drank Chardonnay and had a great time. Go if you want a relaxed, casual atmosphere and to taste some great white wines. More

Very beautiful grounds, but when we chose our tasting and were ushered to the back room, we felt a bit "second class". The wine guide was informative, but just a bit too pretentious for our taste. This is a nice winery, but just not our style. More

We had a great time here, delicious wines and a very pretty setting. Enjoy a glass of wine on a picnic bench under the lovely old trees. More

One of the oldest wineries in the valley and the surroundings are truly beautiful. The wines are great too but I've marked the experience down a little as our tasting guide was a little stuffy and, I'm sure unintentionally, condescending. More

We are seasoned (jaded?) winery visitors living close by, and when the concierge at Solage recommended this place to visit on short notice, we figured it must have something special going on. The first hint of trouble was when we arrived and we were directed to the cash register before we did anything else. I don't begrudge the popular wineries... More

This is a small friendly family-run winery that produces some terrific wines that you can't buy elsewhere. The visit is really pleasant because the staff really knows its stuff and clearly love being there. Though it's not the big draw of Napa, they have a very nice and pretty affordable just released Pinot Noir. And the 2008 Winston hill red... More

You don't want to miss this great tasting room. The wines are yummy. The people that work at franks are very friendly and not pushy. We joined their membership while we were up their. Bring a picnic basket and spend a couple hours relaxing at this lovely spot. More
