Walk in bar tasting

Now this walk in bar tasting was filled with knowledge, history of the wines, etc unlike another visit we had in Napa. Would recommend for those that like reds from this area.

Went on April 19th for winery tour. This was the first one in the AM and so we tried to premium tasting menu since it included sparkling wines but we got much more than we bargained for! Our server was Mike, great guy, very passionate and knowledgeable; educated us on the sparkling wine process and how at Frank's they paid... More

This winery sits between highway 29 and Silverado trail so its not on a main road but well worth the stop. For a Napa winery the price is not over the top by any means but it is by far the most buttery Chardonnay I have ever tasted!!!

This was the first "vineyard" we visited on our trip to Napa. We then visited 5 other places over 3 days and every single one was FAR superior to this place. Here's what we didn't like: 1) It's not a vineyard or winery that we could see. Given the location (not in town) we assumed there would be actual vines... More

They were friendly and knowledgeable. We also liked that we could buy one one tasting and share it. Which was great since we were going to many wineries that day. They also had picnic tables which were a great place to eat lunch.

Our host Pam made our tasting a very fun time. You don't really tour this winery; you really just taste. The wine quality is very good. They also are one of the few wineries offering sparkling wine (champagne). We found this to be very much worth our time.

We had an appointment at this winery, since I heard their wines were good. We did the classic tasting - probably should have done the premium - and was told to go to the bar. Four, young, pretty women were already there, and the pourer was a young guy himself. We're middle-aged - who do you think got more attention?... More

Great historical setting and even better wines! Our favorite winery since our first trip to Napa Valley in 2001!

We had not visted this winery in three years and our last experience had been a disaapointment because they had changed their tasting offerings. We went with the intention of just buying a case of chardonnay. When we arrived we noticed that they had changed they tasting menu. When we announced what we intended to buy they had ust taste...
