Good wine, vibe is a little weird though

Had an absolutely fantastic tasting at Frank's! Wines were very good. We were there as "friends of napa". We were given free tastings for four people and then they upgraded us for free to the reserve tasting and included a tasting of the 150.00 reserve cabernet and the port. Our server was Antonio and he was so amusing and entertaining... More

We came here to taste some of the wines that Frank Fmaily had to offer. Their wines are great and pretty reasonably priced for us, but the vibe/atmosphere here is a bit tacky. It was a beautiful day and the tasting areas are in dark and indoor rooms. Felt a bit un-Napa (if that is a thing). Wines are good... More

The hotel we stayed at recommended we do a quick visit at Frank Family (no reservation required - thank goodness, all the reservations become so ridiculous!). When we got there, we told them where we were staying and that we were told to ask for Dennis. Right away, we were ushered into a private room with Dennis. Dennis was incredible!... More

Were excited to stop off here half way through our day to taste the wines and eat out homemade picnic at the winery tables but unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. We were welcomed and led to our tasting station (there are at least 4 different ones in the house) right away but were then ignored for the... More

Beautiful property, tasting room and wine was just ok. Overall attitude of the staff was condescending. They talked all about was the owner Rich Frank and his wife, and there are pictures of them everywhere with their famous friends. I came for the wine, not the owner. They barely talked about the wine!

Stopped by for a fast tasting, we were immediately taken into a private room. We had a great guy named Monty who gave us the history of Frank Family, We then tried almost every wine they had, Every taste was amazing! Loved the personal service, the time and information. We also had two puppies with us, that was no problem,... More

Had a wonderful member's tasting. This is always a favorite stop and it was the best yet on this visit. Dennis did an absolutely fabulous tasting for us and was a very engaging host. The wines are top notch and, as always, we selected the fine Zinfandel to go with our lunch. I was so pleased to get a sample... More

We met a lovely couple in Napa who told us that we had to visit their all time favorite winery, Frank Family Vineyards...so we stopped by for a tasting. They were nothing special, and we were pretty disappointed that we had taken time away from other favorite wineries in the area. I would not recommend this winery...to many other better... More

We've been going here for many many years. Even if just up for a day we have to stop and visit. If you like red, white, sparkling or port this is your place. We do annual lobster boil and have a blast. After having 20 plus clubs over the years, this and one other are the constants Must do.
