For those who are interested in Marilyn Monroe, this is THE winery to go to in Napa Valley. The staff is friendly. For my personal tastes, its just an average winery in a valley full of excellent wineries. Of the Frank family wines, their reserve pinot is the one I enjoyed the most of the ones I tasted.

We had the Reserve tasting of reserve estate wines. Wines were great with informative discussions of the winery and wines. Some surprise wines lie Sangiovese and Petite Syrah. Worth a visit in Calistoga.

it has always been a winery that gets thrown at as a must see when you are in town but for us at this time it's everything we don't want in a winery. Average wines with very well marketed names so they can double the price it should sell for. Top wines are good but very expensive. Anything under $100... More

We met with a VERY knowledgeable man who poured us the wines and gave us all the information about them. We were able to sit outside at the picnic tables and have cheese and crackers so that the wine didn't hit us too badly before this tasting (since we'd already gone to two other wineries) so the grounds were very... Stopped here for tasting. Have a great location if you want a picnic, lots of folks taking advantage of a perfect setting. Wine tasting offered a variety of product.

We had a wonderful tasting - despite not ending up signing up for a tasting (as i was a driver) I got roped in (very easily I might add - no arm twisting). It turned out to be my absolute favorite vineyard of our trip - and we visited more than 15 in Napa and Sonoma. Prepare to spend some... More

Visited Frank Family for the first time since the new tasting room was built. They continue to make you feel at home. Visited on a rainy weekday and the winery was crowded. Even with the crowd, they spend a great deal of time with you and the wines are some of the best in Napa. Many people are not familiar... More

We stopped at Frank Family Vineyards for a tasting upon recommendations from a couple of friends. This was our 2nd tasting on our first day in Napa Valley. Antonio was our pourer and he was great-very personable, laid back and poured heavier than the first place we visited. This is a great little place to stop for a tasting if... More

We chose to do the reserve wine tasting, and although I've had their chardonnay from a local wine store here in NJ and loved it I wasn't anticipating much. Thought it would be nice. Was I pleasantly surprised! Every wine was not just good, but outstanding. That never happens. Actually joined the club.....that never happens either. Visited 14 wineries this... More

Well… its a great stop here in napa wine country. Great folks work here that treat people like valued clients. The grounds are nice.. Probably the best zen in napa and its a shady nice spot to do a picnic! Just don't feed the dog!
