A great vineyard

This was the first vineyard we visited and we were not disappointed. We opted for the ATM tour and it was great. the views were fabulous as was the wine.

Our friends booked us into a tour with JCV, which is not on everyone's list. Very glad they did. Tour was lovely on a tav through the vineyards as we heard about the family and business. Then it was down to business! We went to the tasting room which was lovely and cool - it was over 100 degrees outside... More

This was our 3rd day in wine country and definitely our favorite! We were doing a self-guided bike tour through Calistoga and one of the bikers at Calistoga bike shop advised us to stop here-it is by appointment only. Yes, I am/was intimidated by that, but my husband called and Bradley was extremely welcoming. We could not have picked a... More

What a wonderful place to visit and taste! You must make a reservation to tour and visit but it honestly is well worth it. The place is beautiful, relaxed and everyone is friendly. Best bonus....not crazy busy with a bunch of tourists and tour buses. The wine is delicious, the vineyards are plentiful, the cave is nice and did I... More

Our visit to Jericho Canyon was lovely. Nice wine, not busy, beautiful setting, etc. HOWEVER, I should have read the fine print, as it $250 purchase to waive just 1 of our 2 tasting fees. I have visited so many fabulous wineries that waive the tasting fee with a 1 or 2 bottle purchase. The wine was ok, but not... More

If you love wine, take a break from the big busy touristy wineries to visit this great family gem. Jericho Canyon is not showy. Instead you think you are at someone's private house when you pull up. It is located amongst the hills in a stunning serene location out of the way. An appointment is required but worth it. My... More

Took the 'Polaris Tour & Tasting'....what a great time!!! Tara was our guide and was very informative...helped connect the dots from vine to bottle. Super time of year to tour as grapes were ripe (we were able to taste right off the vine) and production was going full swing. A smaller operation but some great tasting wine....and an experience we'll... More

This winery is very quaint - wine is very good. The tasting room area is super awesome. They served the most delicious cheese and honey with our tasting, with some tomatoes fresh off the vine. The family who owns it are all very nice and extremely hospitable. We will definitely go back on our next trip.

Where to start? Our hotel kept suggesting this place and advising we pick the all-terrain vehicle tour through the mountains. We finally did it. BEST winery experience on this trip. Private and family owned. No one else there. You can do the cheaper option by foot but We paid 75 each/-totally worth it and refundable when you buy wine. We... More

I'd been hearing wonderful things about Jericho Canyon ever since the early press on David Ramey's wines. I finally made it out for a visit and was blown away. This is literally a slice of heaven. Driving up, it seemed like I was going to the wrong place. This winery is hidden. Tara met me at the winery with the... More
