We made a mistake and went to the Winemaker dinner. Over the top expensive for a basic dinner in a loud room. It was the only bad choice in an otherwise great trip.

This is not one of those commercial wineries you see on the wine train. They make excellent big reds and we have been future members for over 10 years. Come give it a try and you will not be disappointed for you big red wine drinkers (they also make a great Chardonnay as well).

Rick was our tour guide. This was the best tour we've had in Napa. Rick was very personal and made the experience so much fun! Reservations are "required" but you can make a reservation for 10-15 minutes later. We loved the wines and bought 3 bottles.

came here with my cousin who raved about the place. Lucky us, we were there for their open house where they served paella in a huge wok bowl....so big. SO GOOD! It was a touch of italian life at home. I never wanted to leave!

I think we threw off out host. We were late due to a prior tasting but they changed out time and said it was a slow day and no big deal. The host was nice but I don't know if he didn't think we were going to buy the wine but he seemed to lose gusto as the tasting went... More

As far as wine tastings go, this was pretty mediocre. Their wines are really nothing special. However the host was fun and entertaining and we enjoyed. They also had a beautiful olive oil that we got to try. And the experience was fun and intimate. I wish I didn't love wine so much if I did I would have loved... More

Best wine tasting by far. First off it's a free tasting room which is rare in Napa, but I'd rather spend the money on taking home great wine. This vineyard did not disappoint. The tasting was very casual and not rushed at all. We didn't feel like just another customer but rather part of the family. The wine is awesome... More

We managed to get the reservation for the same day visit. Showed up 30 min early to reservation, but they were able to accommodate us right away. Very knowledgable and personable wine maker hosted us. Stayed for 90 min. They reinversed us for the cost of tasting after buying 6 bottles. Thanks! Located in Calistoga, north end of Napa Valley.... The winery is in a very cool location (Calistoga is a really cute, quaint town) and the winery is on the smaller side. If you are looking for a larger winery or something with a more "corporate" feeling, look elsewhere. My wife and I are not big fans of "corporate" settings, reason being we selected this winery! We did a... More
