We wanted to break out of the Napa Cab/Chard routine and see what other varietals were available to us. Vincent Arroyo offers Spanish Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Petite Syrah and wot varieties not commonly found in Napa/Sonoma. Very laid back and casual. There is a good chance you'll run into Vincent himself. Jeffrey did a great job of showing us around and... More

This was probably my favorite winery to visit this year. Two dogs greeted us as we got out of the car. Jeffery greeted us at the door. He's a fantastic conversationalist who knows the history and property and process. We had many wines offered for tasting and ended up buying a few too. Highly recommended!

We go to Vincent Arroyo every time we are in Calistoga. Their wines are vey good for the price and there is no tasting fee. We really like the Cabernets and Sarah's. There wine club is also good because you can select what wines you want as opposed to getting a predetermined shipment. The tasting room is very Spartan and... More

This is a small vineyard in Calistoga and I hope that never changes. We had a wonderful experience here, and they produce absolutely amazing wines!! We showed up without a reservation (our bad), but were still very well taken care of. We enjoyed a nice tour of the facilities, and then did a GREAT tasting. This was one of our... More

This is an excellent winery to visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed. You will often meet the winemaker himself there. An intimate facility, with lots of personal attention. We live in Calistoga and Vince's is always at the top of our list for visitors.

You have to make a reservation if you plan to visit but it will for sure make your day! If possible make them your first stop. Our group is somewhat new to wine and our tour guide made sure that when we left we were more knowledgeable about wine and winemaking. They had a lot of wines to sample and... More

This family winery in Calistoga was a phenomenal experience and at tasting like you don't often find in Napa these days. I phoned ahead a few days and made a reservation for 2PM, they do them on the hour, and give yourself an hour to take in this quaint experience. The owner himself and his family do most of the... Very small facility but you get a more personalized treatment here. The staff is knowledgeable and excited about their products, something you don't always see at the larger wineries. Even got to chat with the owner. And there is no cost for the tasting. I found the wine very good and reasonably-priced, compared to other Napa wineries.

Soooo welcoming and generous. Thank you Jeffrey for such a lovely and informative visit. Vincent Arroyo is famous for the Petite Sirah, of course once you taste it you'll understand why. Go, I guarantee you will love it.

I saw so many great reviews for this place that I made a reservation. We must have had an unusual experience looking at other reviews. This is a small winery and the wine tasting area is inside a barn with a folding table to do the tasting. When we arrived, the place was crowded. We were put with another group... More
