The tasting room looked like a warehouse and was filled with customers and salespeople. Although there were nice benches and seating areas outside we stayed inside, perhaps due to the heat. The set up was not special, not pretty and not an "experience". The first few wines were awful, perhaps leading up to the better ones, but I hate that... More

The wines at Vincent Arroyo are excellent. We loved that we had the opportunity to try about 8 different varietals. I am usually not a Pinot fan, but it was the best I have ever tasted. The staff were knowledgeable, down to earth, friendly, and helpful. We had so much fun talking to them and they took their time to... More

Vince`s wine is an experience. It is expensive now when compared to way back ago when we discovered but I guess it followed inflation but his project is the coolest in the wine country. It is laid back, informal, true, humble and focus on one thing only: making great wine. He used to come in sometimes and talk and introduce... More

This is not one of your high dollar wineries that put all the money in to the presentation. If you are looking for outstanding petite syrah, this is one of our favorites. Dry irrigated vines 50 years and older go into the Rattlesnake and Greenwood Ranch petite syrahs. The winemaker's reserve petite is outstanding and frankly the 'regular' petite has... More

This was our first winery tour in CA and it was OK. We talked with Ted and sampled a handful of their wines. Ted was very informative of the winemaking process and took us around the building site for a tour. This winery was noted the best in Calistoga, but again the experience was OK. We met one of the... We had a very good experience. First we started with a couple of tastings where hearing about the winery, vineyards, history etc, We were then offered a tour around the vineyard while the wine was being barreled. David was very knowledgeable and explained what was going on. When we retunred to the tasting area Vincent was there. We all enjoyed... More

It was a nice sunny day when we popped in to make an appointment and luckily David could show us around straight away. David was an excellent host who was not only generous with the wine but also with his knowledge but not in an patronising way as we are no wine experts. We were shown how wine is made... More

We have been coming here for years and are wine members! We love how we are treated as customers and friends! It is always open for us to just "drop in" even though they prefer a tasting appointment...we love seeing JJ the dog and Bodega as well! We just participated in the "Stomp" this year and had a terrific time!... More

Great stop along our way. David was our host and he was great. Showed us all around the vineyard/winery and poured plenty of wines to taste. It was our honeymoon and he gave us a bottle for dinner that night. We can not wait to go back to visit and would recommend them to anyone! great wines at great price... More

A small, family owned winery that produces the best Petit Sirah in the valley. A close second is Vince's Cabernet Sauvignon. You are welcomed by a warm, friendly staff. Everyone at the winery is proud of their product and it shows. It is what Napa wineries used to be. Don't miss the dipping oil.
