Rimple was an excellent host. He took the time to answer all our questions and the tasting in the caves was a treat. The sparkling wines were exceptional and looking forward to our next shipment. Thank you Rimple!

It is one of the oldest wineries in Napa Valley. Very impressive caves carved into the mountain side. Great private tour with Rimple. Excellent sparkling wine and estate cabernet.

We did not have a chance to tour Schramsberg on our first trip to Napa Valley many years ago, so it was near the top of my to-do list on a return trip. I booked the tour about 10 days in advance during the slow season which is a MUST. They are only allowed a certain number of people through... More

The best thing about this is the actual tour and tasting. The gentleman who lead our tour was very knowledgeable and funny - explaining the Champagne style process in great yet understandable detail. The caves are impressive and the tasting was fun, with generous pours. The actual buying experience after the tour and tasting is a little impersonal, more of... More

We went on the cave tour and tasting which required reservations. We've been on multiple tours in the past and this was one of our favorites. The guide was very knowledgeable about all of Napa and Sonoma and the history of Schramsberg was fascinating. We all loved the tasting which followed. Cheers!

Almost every winery in Napa has a tasting and tour. What separates Schramsberg from the other tours is their history in and out of Napa. Schramsberg has a great history and story and the tour is amazing. I cannot underscore enough how much history Schramsberg has and that you will be truly amazed by their story. Walking through their caves... More

I enjoyed the facility & property. While the leather tiled tour office & retail space are great, look to the left of the retail & tour building and look into the bottling area. Reception staff was great, tour guide & tour was fine, wife felt the pours were a bit brief and rushed which led to the ? about where... More

Small, usually 12-14 people, groups with knowledgeable guides occur completely in the oldest hillside caves in Napa Valley... Very much instructional visit takes over an hour... This is the finest sparkling wine produced anywhere outside of Champagne!

This hidden gem was such a treat. I'd been to Calistoga many times but always missed this. I only became aware of the little sign when headed north. The caves were amazing and the history of the Schramsburg family was captivating. The best part of this tour--tasting generous pours of champagne in the heart of the caves lit by "Phantom... More
