Tucked out of the way (you'd never know it was there if you didn't have a GPS). Great champagne (sorry, sparkling wine).

One of the best tours ever! If you love champagne, you must visit Shramsburg! Tasting the wines in a cave surrounded by candelabras was like being on the set of Phantom of the Opera! Our guide was knowledgable and witty and the wines, heavenly smooth! A must do when in the Napa Valley Region.

We enjoyed our tour of Schramsberg very much. Our tour guide was very funny and knowledgeable and the wines were delicious. We knew we'd love the champagnes, but the pinot noir was a surprise! The caves are very cool and definitely a unique experience, even if you go to other wine caves. I was slightly claustrophobic though! The tasting room... More

There are several champagne houses you can visit in the Napa area, but none with quite the charm as Schramsberg. Our guide was a little over the top, but we enjoyed the cave tour and champagnes tremendously. Very generous pours and lots of history and ambiance to accompany. Make sure you plan on lunch (or a snack) before and/or after.... More

It doesn't get better than Schramsberg! Fabulous sparkling wine with a gorgeous cave room & tasting experience. There is so much history here & it is very romantic. Amber was our guide & was extremely informative. Can't wait to go back one day!!

Make reservations for the cave tour, you won't be disappointed- it's fantastic! This is by far the best sparkling wine vineyard in Napa Valley- if you can only choose 1, choose Schramsberg! The cave tour is fascinating and educational on how you make sparkling wine- and well, the caves are just pretty cool. Very different than red and white wine... More

Two great reasons to visit Schramsberg. 1: Their sparkling wines are delicious and as close as you will get to champagne outside of France. 2: The cave tour is a charming way to learn about traditional methods of making and storing sparkling wine (méthode champenoise, hand riddling, cave storage).

After a mildly harrowing drive up the hill (warning: narrow and winding road), we parked and went for the tour. Thankfully, the drive was worth it. Got a history lesson at the beginning, a tour of the cool wine cave, learned about the process of making sparkling wine (riddling!), and tasted a variety of sparkling wines at the end. Most... More

Our tour guide was Kelly and she was phenomenal! Very friendly, funny, and filled with information. I'm not a huge sparkling wine drinker, but the the whole process of making it and the history of Schramsberg was very intriguing! We received a private tasting in a beautiful tasting room at the end of the tour. We sampled four different wines... More
