Was a little apprehensive to do the mud bath thing, but it was great. So you go in this room with 2 adjacent vats of mud, it's best to go in naked - you roll yourself over the edge and plop in. You don't sink! You stay in for 12 or so minutes, then you roll out, hose yourself off,... More

I took my wife here for her birthday and a little relaxation after a busy week at work. We did the mud bath and massage. Both were great. We both felt very different when we were done. Very relaxed and less stressed. I highly recommend doing both.

My friend and I were on a day trip through Napa on Labor Day Weekend and were looking for a place to enjoy a mineral pool. This was the only place with a day pass we could find on a weekend. With a scheduled 1/2 hour massage we had use of the mineral pool and hot tubs. The massage was... More

My husband and I found a groupon for a couple's mud bath at Golden Haven (which was just around the corner from our hotel) and figured since we were in Calistoga we might as well try it out. It was hysterical. If you haven't done this, do it just to be able to tell people about it. Since you do... More

Waiting around in robes in a hallway with people walking everywhere was not my idea of a relaxing day. I felt like I was in the way. Mud bath was ok. Had booked a mini facial after the mud bath. It was disappointing as all the young man did was put steam towels on a my face for a few... More

The pools smelled of chlorine though I thought they were supposed to be spring fed geothermal pools. The mud bath was awesome and earthy. My friend had a facial, which she wouldn't recommend. Mud is the way to go...

I booked us a couples mud bath, and we loved it ! We were escorted into our private room....we were given very specific instructions on how to get in & what would happen next. We both got into the mud, easily......it was hot & messy = awesome ! We piled the mud on top of ourselves, and the attendant came... More

My only regret is not being able to do their Mud bath! Dala was my massage therapist today. Very knowledgeable and had a calming effect. Made a reservation that morning and was able to come in afternoon. Granted, it is late March and it was raining this weekend. The staff at front desk were very professional despite the bustling check-ins... More

We made reservations several months ahead and a good thing we did, they were very busy. One tip that I suggest that the personnel ask when one calls to reserve a room and or treatments, is they ask if one is allergic to sulfur,( this is a very common allergy) they reason I suggest this is all the hot water... Guess I didn't know what to,expect. But the motel. Or as they call it hotel is hokey at best. Makes u think u are at a motel off Route 66. The mud bath was an experience. Don't know what to expect but was enjoyable. The town is quaint with a few restaurants not much else to do there. Nothing at... More
