My boyfriend and I went to the tasting room in Calistoga on 10/31/2014. Had a nice experience and bought some wine. They immediately charged my credit card and in fact over-charged us to the tune of $150. We got it straightened out the next day (thankfully we were still in the Valley and could take care of this) but then... More

My husband and I are wine AND football fans, and Dick Vermeil is one of my husband's favorite coaches. On a recent visit to Northern California, we visited both Vermeil Wine locations -Napa and Calistoga. We first went to the Napa location, where the young man working there couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. He even let my husband... More

I didn't go to the winery in Calistoga, but there is a tasting room in downtown. I'm a football fan, so I loved the football decor with Dick Vermeil's teams. Wines were good too!

My husband is a huge Rams fan, so we had to visit this winery owned by a former Rams manager. The wine selection was vast, and the quality of the wines were some of the best we had. The girl who did the tasting was extremely helpful and pleasant, but I noticed later that she had overcharged us for one... More

We went in for the famed Charbono, left with all the wines they offered. Our hostess, MarySue Frediani, is a wealth of knowledge. We truly had a better Calistoga experience because of her finger on the pulse of this town. She made our dinner reservations and pointed us in the right direction for breakfast. Then proceeded to check up on... More

I loved the wines but my husband thought they were just OK. We both agree that we love the owner. She is very knowledgeable not to mention wonderful to talk to. This is just a tasting room in town but they love their wine and it is all family which I love. No sell out corporation here. I loved the... More

Vermeil Wines has a great little tasting room in Calistoga. We started our journey there this year and thoroughly enjoyed the informative and friendly wine tasting. Plus the place is like a football hall of fame with memorbilia from Dick Vermeil's days in football. A must stop.

We would go back here, we loved Nonna's secret wine, and the Cab Franc was very good as well. The wine agent was the production manager and he new so much about the wines, which made the experience that much more fun.
