The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

Management called and said the massage therapist had called in sick the most he could offer was free mudbaths. They were booked and it was Sunday night. It was wonderful the attendants were great! I have been going there off and on for years and plan to go back.

They were undergoing construction when I was there, so a lot of early morning noise with an unattractive setting...they did not warn us. Their towel policy is good for them, not for their customers. They were not accommodating for the cost of the room.

This is where we come to unwind. What was different this time is that the lap pool was heated to 90 and it felt so good. We stayed the night as a special treat. I can't think of a single negative thing to say except that after they did their beautiful remodel the prices went up and that has made... More

We try to come to Calistoga and Calistoga Spa Hot Springs a couuple of times a year. We are never disappointed with the relaxing qualities of the pools and grounds. This year we thought warm pool was not as warm as usual. I asked about the temperature and Horacio said he would have it checked. Soon the pool was as... More

The website makes this spa look amazing. Do not be fooled. It was quite possibly the worst spa experience of my life. The massage was very good. But the spa was terrible. You're given a sheet/blanket/wrap when you check in and this is what you're supposed to "wear" while you wait and then into your massage. And guess what? It's... More

This used to be my favorite place in Calistoga, but on a recent weekend trip, I was so disappointed. The new remodel is nice, but it left me cold. The funky rooms now seem sterile and prices have skyrocketed. Plus there is a charge for everything. Would not go back.

Love the huge hot spring pool & being an adult the adults only pool. I've stay here many times and used spa services. However the staff at front desk of spa are short and many times rude & dismissive . The staff in rooms are fantastic. Juan in mud baths is a joy; as are massage people . Occasionally ,... More

What a great place for multiple parties to gather! Each room has a kitchenette with sufficient amenities to get you through for a couple of days (and there is a very well-stocked grocery store within walking distance). We had a suite with a really good pull out couch (one of the better ones I've seen), so 4 of us slept... More

I've had different types of massages in multiple places and would not recommend this place because I'm not sure their masseuses are professional. My elder "hippie" looking lady left a lot to be desired. Also the place smelled musty & mildewy as opposed to herbal and fragrant. Probably needs a deep cleaning.

Great facility. I always enjoy this spa. I go once a year to annual meetings. The spa, of course has a conference room, 3 pools, out door spaces to picnic and socialize. The rooms are comfortable and newly remodeled. I can stay in Calistoga for 3 day's and never leave this spa. It has everything
