Description: The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently...
The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

Myself, I like the compound affect. Everything I needed is contained in one area; rooms, massages, pools, eating areas, a walk down the main street for shopping and restaurants. A market in case I forgot something or decided to cook our meals. This spa has no negatives for me.

The water was hot and the setting is nice. We arrived at 6:10 p.m., told we could not buy admittance until 7 and directed to sit in the lobby while we waited. By 6:45 there were two other couples/small groups waiting, when another trio came in, we were told "you will have to form a line outside" with no regard... More

Just go! It is a fun thing to do near Calistoga! Recommend going near sunset, bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the Geyser, goats and view!

My husband booked this motel and he scored! Accomodations were newly remodeled, pool area was clean, price was great for the Napa Valley. We stayed 4 nights and had a spa treatment, so we received 20% off the lodging. Spa treatment was a mud bath...interesting! Now I don't have to wonder again!

I took a day off to celebrate my birthday and what a treat it was. My first time at Calistoga Spa and I felt so pampered. Highly recommend it as a place to kick back and relax. With 4 pools and an outside fire pit to keep warm and watch the sunset, Calistoga Spa has it all.

We've spent two days at this place and it was amazing. The only issues we've encountered was the inflexibility of the staff with 1 hour later checkout. It's also kind-of pricey ...

We got a couples mud bath and massage, that experience was fantastic! Our helper was delightful and gave us privacy while still helping guide us in what to do. We felt so great after the mud bath and mask! --And the massage was fantastic! However the front staff greeters, were just awful and that is why sadly I give this... More

If you want to relax and enjoy some "Me Time", this is a wonderful place to do so. We went all out and got the Full treatment, took about 3 hours, but soooo worth it! The little town is great and really enjoyed our stay

This is my go-to spot for escaping from the world. We have been coming here for almost thirty years, and the ongoing upgrades have been awesome. This is the place to relax and renew, whether for a day, a weekend or more.

On the plus side, the location was great - just around the corner from really good restaurants. The employees were very nice. The pools were very warm (4 different pools with varying degrees of heat). On the negative side, our room desperately needed an update. The bathroom fixtures were maroon, the grout in the shower was probably white at some... More
