Description: The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently...
The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

The pool was great, the mud bath really nice, the massage was fantastic, but the atmosphere sucked that day. There was a group of women, I'm guessing a bridal party, that were really, really loud and disrespectful. Despite numerous requests form staff continued to be disruptive. Really hard to relax and the staff seemed a little helpless in resolving the... More

I booked a mud bath and a deep tissue massage. The receptionist at the spa was very nice. I only waited for a few minutes before the attendee directed me to the baths. I found the decor a bit dated and so were the jacuzzi tubs. I have been to mud baths before and this spa was parallel to the... More

Amazing time. My first spa treatment and it won't be my last. Did the mud bath, mineral spa, massage and more. Wasn't disappointed at all. Rooms were great too!

First time ever for me and my husband to experience a mud bath, mineral bath and massage. It was wonderful. So very relaxing!

Fantastic place to end your day. Arrive at 7 and soak in one of three lovely pools for $15 for 2 hours (non hotel guests).

Husband and I went, separate rooms. You enter and disrobe to get into the shower, then settle into the giant mud bath. The girl (or guy) helping out brings an ice cold cloth for the head and a glass of ice water with a straw. They change that out at 5 minutes and give you another drink of water. Then... More

Went there for the mud soak. It is worth it and a nice reprieve from the heat in the valley during the summer.

We were really unhappy with the way this place was running the last day we went. There are young high school aged youth attending the pool areas and they were not making sure the rules were being followed. There were people playing tag foot ball type games in the lap pool. There were 4 men drinking in the pool. There... More

Very nice ambiance and customer service. Recommend the mud soak. I wasn't sure going in but proved to be very relaxing and cleansing on many levels. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave to go to dinner.

I have stayed here many times but not for a few years. The rooms are good sized and very clean. The beds are comfortable. There are mini kitchens in each room and BBQ's outside (charcoal not gas) The hot springs heated pools and spa are wonderful! They also have a full service spa with mud bath and massage. I did...
