We came here on our honeymoon ten years ago and decided to visit again on our 10th anniversary trip. The gondola ride is so pretty, the views are spectacular, and the wine is fantastic. We were able to buy a vintage 2004 (the year we married) that was wonderful, and even purchased a bottle that will age well enough to... More

Wow, they know how to make the perfect winery experience! Everything was spectacular from top-notch service, to a beautiful setting and great wine. The gondola ride up was also a great experience. I highly recommend this winery as a great value for your money.

We rode the tram up the side of the hill which was very pretty and we did a self guided tour, it was OK. Sterling wines are not to bad bought a couple of bottles to take home. I did like their gift shop there was a lot to choose from with some very unique gifts.

Returned to Napa in February and could not miss out on this beautiful attraction. Went back a second time. The scenery was unbeautiful. The self guided tour took you through the site and offered periodic wine tastings along the way. Not my favorite but the experience coupled with the views and wine made it a place not to miss.

Take a gondola up to the winery and then go on a self guided tour of the wine production areas including samples along the way. The views of the hills are amazing and the terrace is a beautiful place to sit and soak it all in. The wine was delicious also. :)

We saw it on the hill, we wanted to visit, we drove down the road several times....but there was no clearly marked sign for their entrance so we gave up. Maybe they were closed that day (Wed.)? I have been here before, and yes the tram is their selling point....but there are better wineries to visit. Go to Beringer. Have... More

This was our 2nd time at Sterling Vineyards and we were disappointed. The gondola ride was still beautiful but once you were off then it wasn't the same. Previously, when you first started the tour you would receive a glass of champagne to cleanse the pallet and then as you moved through the walking tour would have various stops to... More

I had very high hopes for this winery. Where else can you ride a sky gondola and get amazing views of Napa Valley?! Once the gondola ride ended, the enchantment started to fade, and the commercialization started to seep in. Something that I always felt was charming about visiting wineries is getting to know the families and people that produce... More

The view here is amazing! Yes its very pricey but I see why you pay for the view. The wines are alright not my standard in taste but not awful. I did enjoy there bubbly Moscato Rose. The one very interesting and best part is; It is nice we get to keep the tasting glass which most place don't do.... More

The best thing about this tasting was the views. If you have some experience with wines, you may be disappointed with their standard tasting. The wines they gave us for our tasting were on the sweet side and not on par with other vineyards we went to but my guess is these are on the low end of the Sterling... More
