We applied online for tickets to see the taping of The Tonight Show and when we received the confirmation, we called The Tonight Show to find out how the taping works and we were told that the email ticket is not a guaranteed seat - basically entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis whether or not you have an email... We got guaranteed seats from Universal Studios to see the taping of the Jay Leno show and it was well worth the wait. You get to studio 11 and are "hearded" into a waiting area where it is explained what is going to happen. Then the group is busted up into smaller groups to go thru the security area. They... More

i took the tour on my second visit to California in 1978. At the time of the big game show rush. At the time NBC in beautiful downtown Burbank was booming with a number of game shows, including Hollywood Squares, High Rollers, Card Sharks, etc.produced there. This tour no longer runs. All the guide books and Internet still list it. We went to the gate to enter the studio and this is what the guard told us.

Nothing special, no shows were taping. Even Leno was off for the day. I would recommend the Warner Brothers tour just down the road over the NBC Tour.

I had taken this tour once before a couple of years ago when visiting Burbank. It wasn't a great tour but if your a fan of the Tonight Show or Day's of our Lives it was definitely more interesting. I was hoping to visit the NBC Burbank studios once again on a recent visit to Burbank and I learned that... More

The tour is about one hour but you don't really get to see very much. NBC in burbank does not have many shows that tape there. The tonight show, Days of our lives and Access Hollywood. We were the only people there for the tour at 10 am and they seemed to be trying to encourage us to wait an... More
