We visited to get our pumpkins and it has hugely improved since we were there last. The shop sells lots of different varieties of pumpkins, we ended up getting yellow and green oblong ones - for minion pumpkins :). We took a tractor ride to the pumkin patch to choose our pumkins - fantastic photo opportunities here. We saw all... More

Have visited Ballycross quite a few times over the past few years and it used to be a fantastic place where one could have a look at the animals, buy coffee and waffles and bring home apples and juice. It has since become over commercialised and greedy. We had to pay a cover charge to get into the farm, then... More

Visited on bank holiday Sunday. The only neat be was it was so busy. The were queues of people waiting to get in all aftrenoon, We walked out to the pumpkin patch and chose a lovely, unusual shaped pumpkin. Thee are lots of animals to see. The kids loved them. Also some go karts and pony rides. Entry is reasonable... More

Third time to visit Ballycross for the annual Halloween pumpkin picking, unfortunately its has inherited the same greed as the rest of the attractions in this country, paid admission to get in, paid for tractor ride to pumpkin patch and then yes, paid for an over priced pumpkin, but despite paying for almost everything except the seat we were sitting... Been dragged here a few times for overpriced Halloween activities but this time I was pleasantly surprised at a revamped and re-priced Ballycross Apple Farm. I didn't feel like I was turned upside-down at the door to have my pockets emptied. My kids from 2 - 11 all had fun between pony rides, short walks, toy tractor play, animal visits... More

A magical place, where we were brought on a tour of the orchards and pumpkin patch on a horse drawn carriage. We truly enjoyed the variety of animals and the laid back atmosphere. Well worth the couple of quid entry. Fantastic for young kids, good old fashioned fun, a little maze, go karts, animal petting and lovely staff.

Ballycross apple farm is a excellent day out for all ages. We went there and we are in our thirties with no kids so you don't need kids to go along. :) The farm it's self is excellent and there is loads of animals well looked after . The horses are all lovely and you can pet them and feed... More

Great spot to bring the kids. There is plenty of farm animals for them to pet or head off on the horse and trap around the farm. Beautiful waffles in the cafe and don't leave without a bag of juicy Apples.

Expensive now to pay in, so we decided to just have a coffee. Found we were sat aside behind a fence basically in a cold and dark shop and served a cold overpriced waffle. I suggest a fee per car coming in.. And open it up again in the shop.
