Wow. I have skied Bear Mountain many times and never realized this little gem of a zoo was right across the street! It has limited hours (inquire ahead; they close early) and the educational placards on the cages are full of grammatical and spelling errors, so it's definitely a low-budget operation. However, the staff was very friendly and the zoo... More

It's nice to get so close to large animals like black bears and mountain lions, but I hope they can expand their facility to give them more space. Loved the owls and eagles. More

We love to visit this little zoo. You get up close to the animals and they let you watch them feed them at certain times of the day. I LOVE watching animals eat, but if you are squeamish about seeing carnivores eat frozen meat, I recommend you go at a non-feeding time. They are mainly a rescue animal park and... More

It's a nice, small "zoo" to visit. My hubby and I were glad to have visited with the kids. It was a fun and educational experience for our family. We got to see grizzly bears, wolves, a snow owl & a few other animals we don't get to experience often. We saw the entrance fee of $30 for our family... More

We are empty nesters, so just my wife and I came here for a visit. The place is small, so you can see it all in an hour or so. They do have some nice animals, many of which were rescued and rehabilitated from some injury. Among other animals, they have 3 bears, a snow leopard, 2 cougars, several wolves,... More

I mean it was a nice little zoo. It takes you about 20 minutes to see everything. Very hard to take nice pictures because of the fences they have around them. You yourself can barely see the animals. Its nice if you have small kids so they can see bears and foxes behind a gate. More
