Neat Place to Walk Around

Just be aware that this place survives on tourists. Things are pricey everywhere here. If you just wander the village and keep your wits about buying, its fun

So warm and friendly love the fire pits around the village sit by them and enjoy a cup of coffee. Nicely decorated for x-mas. They have thought of everything. In front of the Copper Q they even have a bike fixing station. with air and all the tools.

This is what I would term the upscale downtown area of Big Bear. Plenty of small shops---mostly touristy stuff, but a few nice galleries and higher-end clothing and local art shops. A cute little movie theater is also here, several coffee shops, and many restaurants and a candy store. Good place to just hang out for a few hrs, grab... More

Love the Village. The City has made it real nice now. The sidewalks are heated for the winter to melt the snow and you will see fire pits all around that are awesome and it is a lovely lovely walk. A little concerned about the Clydesdales horses they have there for rides though. the horses look soooo bored and tired.... More

This is one of the things to do while in Big Bear CA. Shops and restaurants abound along the streets.

Myriad tacky gift shops & "art" galleries with high prices. Stopped into an outdoor café for a beer & charged $6. Avoid this tourist trap & enjoy Mother Nature instead.
