Lots of Shops !

A slow walk up and down the street, in and out of the shops, Don't forget the ones up stairs. Very friendly shop keepers, not pushy, walk around at your own pace.

The village has a lot of interesting shops, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. There is something for everyone, casual and fine dining. We tried Indian restaurant, the coffee shops and other restaurants in the village during our stay. It was great. The village is beautiful and very safe. The parking can be tricky sometimes but leave your car somewhere else... More

The town of Big Bear is much larger than this small, tourist-oriented collection of gift shops and restaurants. For example, the Von's, Big 5, and most fast food places are outside of the village. This is the place to go for a little stroll of window shopping, snacking, and eating out. There are several good dining spots, lots of shops,... More

Lots of shops with knickknacks and souvenirs. A bar in the middle with several restaurants on the outskirts. We only spent about an hour here, but only because my cousin was looking for souvenir t-shirts.

The heart of town is the Village (Pine Knot Village). There are many restaurants and shops to visit. There is a movie theater and ice cream shop if you're looking for kid friendly things to do.

What a neat place to walk around! They have these cute shops with knickknacks and unique souvenirs. There's no shortage of bear woodcarvings in this area. There's also plenty of restaurants to choose from. Very family and pet friendly!

It is all decked out during the holidays complete with Santa and Mrs Clause (and no line like at the malls). We took Christmas card pictures under the Giant Christmas tree. And a wonderful amenity is the giant firepits they have through out the village to warm up while you are browsing.

We loved walking around all the shops, checking out shops on Village and Pine Knot, as well as being able to see the water from the lake at the end of Pine Knot. We went the day they had their Christmas tree lighting and Santa visit right after Thanksgiving, which made it extra festive. (However, this place needs a lot... More

Good for walking around and light shopping. We drove through on a nice crisp fall day and ate at one of the local restaurants.
