i've seen many there... good acoustics and the magic of being surrounded by eucalyptus trees... the cheaper seats are uncomfortable. i'd advise bringing a pillow/cushion. stone amphitheatre up in beginnings of the berkeley hills... nothing like it on a warm, summer night...pat metheny...bonnie raitt...dave matthews band... and the night i saw peter gabriel there he didn't need a fog machine...the... I recently took a trip to California to see a 2 night special event show featuring A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, and I right off the bat have to say this is an awesome venue to see a show. Nestled right in some mountains in the park, with really nice lit walkways and tables and chairs just outside the seating... More

I can't believe I had waited so long to enjoy a concert at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA! We recently saw Willie Nelson at the Greek. It was a general admission show, we lined up minutes before the gates opened and had no trouble getting good seats. The seats are concrete benches, bring a blanket, or other padded type... More

Froze my behind off last time I was there for night concert. Once fog & wind moves combined with sitting on the cold cement...Bbbrrrr Otherwise, sound & view was great for being outside

sit in the seats not the lawn. Too long of lines for beer and wine... go early and buy two.. the limit so you don't have to get up and down. the sound here is perfect but bring layer cause no matter what it gets cold at night in our beautiful berkeley hills.

Amazing venue with great acoustics. We came to see The Postal Service and it was a great show. I will definitely come back for good artists.

We had such a fun time for 2 night and 1 afternoon at the Greek seeing the Furthur Band. We loved that from everywhere in the venue you can enjoy the music to the fullest. The music, food and cocktails were delish!

This was a great theater modeled after the historic Greek and Roman theaters. I liked the beautiful facade of old columns . It's outdoor seating and I imagine all the seats are 'good' seats. A lot of fun to be in this Theater.

Take a blanket, seat cushion, enjoy the people watching before the show. Great venue but can get a little frigid when the fog rolls in. Lovely on an October afternoon.
