Beautiful campus

Cal-Berkeley is a beautiful campus, me and a few friends went to a Cal football game and got to see the campus while we were there.

I was invited to UC Berkeley to the College of Architecture and Built Environment as a critic, but the experience of walking around campus was pleasant. It was a very leisurely experience, but by far, my favourite visit was the Art Museum. Overall, the campus was beautiful, and convenient to public transportation

UC Berkeley is the kind of campus that just makes one feel smarter by standing on its grounds. The old brick buildings, the ancient trees, and the bell tower all add to the feel. Make sure that you walk around the entire campus and under no circumstance miss the library. The ceiling alone is worth the time it takes to... More

U.C. Berkeley is one of the top university in the nation, not just in California. It is worth a visit to the campus. The town has strict building codes, very few modern buildings to maintain the old charm of the city. There are obviously pros and cons depending on whether you want to preserve the tradition or like a modern... More

We drove through one evening, non-staff cars not being permitted iduring the daytime. A lovely, large campus, much nicer than we had expected from the downmarket nearby restaurant and shopping areas. We were most taken with the 8 parking spaces marked 'reserved for Nobel laureates' and regretted in retrospect that we hadn't parked and strolled around with a map of... More

From the moment you step onto this campus you feel an amazing international vibe. The diversity of students, staff and visitors is amazing. It's a positive ambiance of intellect and learning. I especially enjoyed visiting the library. The structure is lovely inside, as well as outside. History surrounds the campus, every corner you visit.

Took my daughter and her friend on a college tour of this lovely school. Pleasantly surprised by how pretty the campus is! Parking is difficult.

We signed up for the free 90 minute campus tour (daily). The guide (a current student) was extremely friendly and enthusiastic, and walked us around the entire Berkley campus, including a sneaky peek in the science building. Billed as suitable for tourists, it was actually aimed directly at prospective students. There was plenty of info about the facilities and college... More

UC Berkeley is beautiful. I really have to give props to the campus. Unfortunately part of the campus includes people's park. People's Park once had cultural reference and I understand the importance of it. Now it only houses homeless people. Is this what being liberal means, I can't take a a child to the park and worry about sexual assaults?... More

The campus at UCB is a great sight to see. The attitude of those I have observed is that of "elitist" or better than thou. My opinion, they're just regular people who are fortunate to work at or attend the university. Having visited most all of the UC campuses, I find that this attitude is prevalent on all of them....
