This campus has a mixture of really old and new architecture. nonetheless its breathtaking. The clock tower is a great area for getting cool pictures and videos. There is also a good frozen yogurt place nearby.

Of course UC Berkeley has a great reputation as one of the best Universities in the world. However, this review is for tourists. UC Berkeley is worth walking around as the architecture of a lot of the buildings is unique and interesting. A small creek runs through the campus and some areas are almost as if one is in the... The University of Berkeley is such a beautiful campus. Each building is unique and has a piece of history attached. We were shown around by Alex who was knowledgeable and funny. Around the buildings are lots of trees and greenery, where you can either sit on a bench or under a tree on the grass. There seems a sense of... More

While the photogenic campanile gets the lion's share of visitors' attention, neighboring bucolic Faculty Glade is worth a visit for fans of paleo-relic flora. All three kinds of sequoia trees can be found in this single location, probably the only place on campus, and perhaps the world, where this is the case. The Coast Redwood lines the banks of Strawberry... More

We went to the top of the tower. Visited the many libraries which my son was working at. The campus & downtown area are interesting.

Not at all what I expected. Beautiful. Not too difficult to navigate with the map we printed from the campus website. Just wish they had visitors' parking passes.

Amazing view and campus atmosphere. As a tourist, you can freely walk in the campus and even enter in the buildings.

What a beautiful campus, at a top-ranked university! There is so much to see: the Campanile, Memorial Stadium, Haas Pavilion, Sather Gate, Zellerbach, Alumni Glade, Faculty House, the Greek Theater, all of the academic buildings, etc. Just walk around the campus and enjoy.

Wear your walking shoes and start up the hill. We did not go in the tower, but it is available for a price. A walk through the library is worth the time. Keep walking uphill for a peek at the stadium. The botanical gardens at the top of the hill also looked interesting, but we ran out of time. After... More
