We walked to campus early one morning and just wandered around. The campus was bustling, and the students seemed to be rushing somewhere. The buildings are lovely, with some upgrades going on. The carillon is definitely the centerpiece of the fantastic campus. My only regret was that we did not have time to tour the vast facilities. One of the... More

You MUST make UC Berkeley part of your Berkeley, Telegraph Avenue visit. The campus is beautiful and unique. From the billboards to the protesters to the students, UC Berkeley is one of a kind in the USA. You must see the Hayward earthquake fault where it bisects the California Memorial Stadium. Nowhere else in the world will you find a... More

I enjoyed the entire campus, from the Library, teachers , work proposals, to the gardens and buildings etc. I did not like the housing Coordinator of the International House, specifically an employee named Angela Hamilton. She was very irresponsible and incompetent.

This is where I earned my PhD, and since then the facilities have been continually upgraded. These days my kids go to Berkeley Math Circle here, and that is fantastic (wish we had that when I was a kid). The infrastructure in the departments in Evans Hall could use updating (desks are broken, furniture in general is worn out, everything... More

Niece moved in today and afterward she said to follow her. After we got past the front doors, she wandered off and left us adults to our own. Had a blast playing for the free gifts. Witnessed a child hold on for 30 seconds on the at the bar – I could NOT perform this task at that age. Our... More

Berkeley is one of the most well known schools in the country for a reason! It is an absolutely beautiful campus and is a joy to just walk around taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling environment. It is really the heart of the city and is worth checking out if you are in town!

The views from the Campanile are amazing. Don't miss the the trip to the top for incredible views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline. The campus has preserved much of it's history in an admirable matter. The city of Berkeley and this vampire s entrenched in contemporary American history and is a must see!!

How I wish I had realized as an undergraduate how gorgeous and imposing this campus is! Luckily, I have continued to live in Berkeley and have started visiting the campus again in my senior years, and now I am in awe of the history, the architecture and the beauty of the campus. I strolled there four days ago with my... More

Campus is huge, definitely a lot of walking required, no bus transit or any other form of public transportation goes inside the campus just around the campus perimemter. A lot of beautiful, humongous trees. The University saved a lot of the trees and natural landscape when they built instead of just demolishing and uprooting everything and then cover it with... More
