Rivers End Rafting is a good trip for small children on their first rafting trips but for anybody over the age of 10 the trip is slow and boring. To get to decent rapids that are worth the drive you would have to go further up the Kern river. the staff at Rivers End Rafting were polite but had an... More

What an awesome 4th of July experience. Although water levels were a bit low, the enthusiastic staff made up for it. We swam, played games, and had a great time!!! Will definitely go back when the water raises again :)

My husband and I had a great time last weekend. There were lots of rafters and the company was very organized. The tour guide, Tony, was great. We got to swim in the river at two different locations. This is a great trip if you want to get your toes wet, as it's not a very difficult course. Very enjoyable.... More

Never done this before...Took my family of 4 for a river rafting trip on the lower Kern river and had a great time. They run a great operation, they fit you with a very snug life jacket, take you by bus to the river drop in spot. Give you a quick safety briefing, like what to do if you fall... More

What a blast! Loved our guide, the info, the people and the rapids...CAN'T wait for next summer! We were able to visit some great swimming holes, lunch was prepared by the guides and was awesome as well.

We went rafting on August the 17th, and it was not what I expected. Don’t get me wrong, we had fun and the staff was a load of fun and full of energy. We loved our guide, Tommy, very nice outgoing guy. Nevertheless, the river was very low… like knee high… and we were more concerned about hitting a rock... More

We all have fun during this water rafting, the staff is extremely friendly and full of energy. My 3 kids love this experience. One thing is the pictures they sell are pretty pricy. (there is someone would take pictures for you by the riverside)They don't sell single picture, you have to buy them all, it is about 8 pictures per... More

The raft guide was friendly, energetic, and fun. The experience was more than I was expecting. I would do this again. Get there early, more than the 15 minutes recommended, there are only three changing rooms, there will be a line. Be prepared for Porta potties for the bathroom facilities, they are kept very clean.

This was my first rafting trip. My son is 15 and has been wanting to go rafting for a few years. I saw the 2 hour trip on Groupon and we decided to make a one night trip to Bakersfield. We booked the 530 pm rafting excursion. Since it was 4th of July weekend it was pretty busy. Three boats... More

We took our family of 5 to River's End Rafting. Efficient processing (lots of people), friendly staff, great guide (Jennifer). Mellow river and very family friendly trip!
